Decided to stop in and check this place out while on vacation. What a hidden gem! The food and service were fantastic.
It was a really great dining experience! The portions were more than generous and the food was really fresh! It came out still very very hot. The staff was also friendly and it was a really nice place to eat.
I LOVE the Mays Landing Diner. My 2nd visit this morning (breakfast again). Just like the first visit: Food - AMAZING, Service - OUTSTANDING. Today had the strawberry crepes and fresh orange juice with 2 eggs over easy. Everything cooked perfectly, strawberries so fresh and good, eggs cooked perfectly (just like first visit). Can't wait to go for dinner and try one of their fresh baked pies! Staff are all so nice and welcoming, it's a wonderful place.
Always room for improvement but nothing too major of a concern for me. Skipped while waiting as me and my party was waiting just outside the door waiters came outside and called other names but not the name for my party. When approached they apologized and gave a soft attempt without confidence to convince us that our name was called and quickly sat us. Waiter was great with service and kind. Food came quickly and and was satisfying. I was hoping to be surprised with authentic-ish crepes but on the variety offered on the menu. I received diner quality and quickly declined just by looking. The cook attempted to improve but overall they were thick and doughy. I definitely recommend for American diner foods classics! Pancakes definitely thick and fluffy!
Stopped here traveling back from Atlantic City on Mother's day. Very busy diner. Excellent food and the menu is HUGE! Food portions are more than adequate. We did have one issue: the ceiling began to leak right over my mother's plate. She was half finished with her meal. Upon alerting the manager, our table was slid away from the drip/leak. Although a replacement meal was offered, which we refused because we were almost finished eating and it would have been a bit of a wait for it, a comp meal for her would have been more appropriate. All in all, if traveling this way again, would stop, but will check for leaks over our heads.
Had the Pesto grilled cheese with a side of marinara! Grill cheese reinvented! Amazing!!!! Pot pie was packed full of large chunks of chicken and vegetables with a tasty crust! Our server Cherie was awesome! We weren’t sure what we wanted to eat and she suggested these two outstanding options! Can’t wait to come back and try her other recommendations!!!
Great diner food. Exactly what you think of for a local diner. A positive experience both times I went with the friend I was in town visiting. Staff was prompt and courteous. Diner is clean and well kept. Prices are as expected for diner meals. We ate breakfast both visits. Loved the French Toast! Big, fluffy pieces, very savory. Would definitely eat there again next time I visit the area.

I don't go out there often anymore but if I'm passing the May's Landing Dinner I try to stop in for a bite. They are an excellent place to eat. Staff was friendly and helpful, treated you like family or friends. The food was great as well. They had a large selection for any meal or dietary preference. The price was good too as it was cheaper then eating at a chain for 3 people and I thought the food was better. It was an overall great experience and one I hope to enjoy again soon. I may even just have to drive out that way just to eat there.
I loved this Diner! It's a hidden jewel, in my opinion! The place is spacious, clean and inviting. Friendly staff and the food was simply Delicious! Large portions, I had three meals from my order! Yes, I plan to return!
