Got there 7:45 pm. Open til 10 pm. The place had 1 table inside so they were cleaning. That's good. We should have left then! Lady because she's no waitress. At least no experience. Took our drink order and left. Came back and took our dinner order 10 minutes later. I ordered a classic cheeseburger for my son. He's 160 pounds. Food came out burger was tiny!! I ordered turkey dinner with a tossed salad. Turkey dinner came out. I asked for my salad, she says it was coming! I received my salad half way done with my dinner. My other son ordered minion breakfast off of kids menu. We received our bill and they didn't take the kids meal off with an adult meal! This whole mess took 57 minutes!! Never again. P.s. turkey dinner was good -. Little salty expected with can gravy
I am as sympathetic as they come to poor customer service and cold food when the place is busy and short staffed. However, waiting 25 minutes when there are only two people in your restaurant is unacceptable in any scale. I would normally say retrain your staff but after reading through all the reviews on this IHOP rt 33 in Hamilton, I will tell the owners to simply fired everyone and hire new staff. I can really see how this place is taking a nosedive this past five years, and don’t use the pandemic as a crutch. These big commercial restaurants have to learn that poor customer service is a first class ticket to FAILURE TOWN. Save your money and support Hamilton small businesses.
First time visiting this location, went for a birthday brunch. It was Slightly busy but we were seated without a wait. The server was very nice and got us situated with everything. Ordered the steak omelet, side of bacon. It also came with pancakes, or your choice of different sides. The food came quick and it was on point. The bacon definitely sat under a heat lamp for a little... The restaurant was clean and so was the restroom. There are dividers in place between the seats and the surfaces are cleaned after guests leave. Overall it was a good experience.
I have eaten here many times and have no complaints. Ordering online and picking up food is another story. I tried to order food online and when I did that I chose the IHOP on Route 33 near me to order from, put the order through and paid but when I got the confirmation email it said my order was being prepared at the IHOP on Arimingo Ave in Philadelphia PA. I had to then call and cancel that, went to the store near me and went inside to order. I tried to tell them about the issue I had ordering on line and I just got an "oh", I was told it would be 15 minutes that turned into about 40 minutes. When I got home I had no butter or syrup with my pancakes instead I find honey mustard, my toast was burnt and who wants to eat burnt toast?? My over easy eggs were cooked much more than I would have liked and the hash browns I was supposed to get with my combo weren't there. Horrible experience!!
This is hands down the best iHop I have ever been to and probably ever will go to. I have never had such a consistent experience at any other chain before. The food is always hot, quick, and made correctly! The staff here is always friendly and helpful. I’ve seriously never been so passionate about any other iHop, highly recommend this location!
My server, John, was exceptionally attentive despite him having to manage several tables. He checked in multiple times, noticed that one of the entrees was missing something and brought us another plate, and was genuinely polite. The restaurant is great! Food is on point, prices are excellent, and the coffee is unlimited. We arrived at the busiest time of the day on a Saturday, and were seated, attended to, and served right away. Happy wife, happy kids, happy wallet, happy me. 5-stars all the way!
Seriously....save yourself the trip!!After placing our order for the combo appetizer (mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, and onion rings), we're told the fryer was turned off and we couldn't get the appetizer. My oldest son ordered plain French toast with a side of bacon. The french toast came out covered in powdered sugar and butter. Plain...as in NO butter NO powdered sugar. How do you screw up plain French toast? And to top it off, the side of bacon wasn't brought out until it was brought to the server's attention. Miraculously, the fryer started working and the appetizer was brought out. However, since they had no mozzarella sticks, they just threw some extra chicken on the plate and called it good. The server (Nevaeh) never gave us an option for the extra chicken or just skip the appetizer. Our ending experience was definitely topped off by the gentleman mopping the floor while we're still finishing our meal. The strong bleach smell coming from the mop bucket was enough to make you lose your appetite. This was the first time I've ever been to IHOP and definitely will be the last.
I have been using this IHOP a lot in the past couple years while dealing with this pandemic. I order online and pick it up. The order has always been correct without mistakes and ready on time
Usually, IHOP IT is A good breakfast restaurant, but not this one. That is the toast, very cheap bread. Only one syrup. As if they are about to go bankrupt or close down. The staff is friendly, though.
Wonderful location with a great staff. Amanda is always amazing and takes the time to connect to her guests and treat them well. The management team is friendly and sensitive to guest needs and experiences. Recommend this Ihop location very highly
