Beautiful colorful location, you instantly fall in love with the welcoming vibe of the location.. Yippee a real Mexican Restaurant in Hackensack! So happy they opened! The food was very good and the service was outstanding. Ricardo was very attentive and knowledgeable of the beverage and food choices. There are 3 other locations in Wallington, Cliffside Park and Edgewater.
I always love a good taco so wanted to try this spot. I ordered my meal online, the shrimp tacos. When I arrived I didn't see the private lot they have so parked elsewhere. I walked in and the nice lady had my food waiting. I grabbed it and left. When I got in, I dug in. The tacos were a bit soggy but was able to pop it in the oven for some crisp. I dug in and the tacos were very tasty and so was the rice and refried beans. In fact the beans were porkless and the best. The sauces they gave was a great addition. I definitely enjoyed and would return.
When I found out this Mexican restaurant was near my new place, I was excited to try it. There were 2 locations by my old place, Edgewater and Cliffside Park. So happy about this place. The food is amazing. We had carne asada chimichangada and enchilada and mojitos as lunch specials. They were very delicious and the drink was great! The only thing about this place is the prices cost more than other Mexican restaurants I've been to but the quality and taste makes up for the price. Just come at happy hour or lunch time to have discounted food and drinks!
The place is beautifully decorated. The food was great. The drinks were great. I went early afternoon so I can speak about how the ambiance is at night but I could infere that it is way better than in the afternoon.
I love how they revamped this older building into a new restaurant! Beautiful ambiance and staff was so courteous and nice. I went for lunch during the week around 12:30pm. I got a strawberry margarita and street corn and it was delicious. My mom got the spicy salmon and we also ordered carne asada tacos. Everything tasted fresh, was delicious and well presented. Rice and refried beans were also great and I don't usually like refried beans lol.
Had a wonderful time here..! The food was pretty good and the Cocktails were exceptional. Staff were friendly and the service was pretty good as well.Would definitely visit again.
Mediocre, overpriced Mexican food. Be careful ordering take out through Door Dash from them. Resolved issue with DD but I think the restaurant could do more to ensure the food is in the bag before driver leaves. No receipt on bag to check items. My bag was missing 3 items in total. That’s a huge misstep on the restaurants part even if my DD driver was at fault as well. Besides that, the food is overpriced and mediocre. Never been inside but not motivated to go now that I’ve seen their prices and quality. $8.50 for a half an ear of corn smeared with mayo and a piece of lime? Get real lol
Food was actually really & so we're the drinks. Prices were decent, wish they had better happy hour specials & that applied to the entire restaurant, not just the bar. Kind of silly to only allow happy hour specials at the bar, especially when we're spending a good amt of $.
I like... it should be better. I when to the bar no one came to ask if I need anything till I call some one... I believe he was the b. Boy he brought me a Blue Moon and menu, never get the chips and salsa...Also the bar it wasn't that busy...Don't get me wrong I will come back, I know this place is a Joya.!!!The churrasco was ok...JARRITO...NICE...
Ordered online for a pick up. Received a confirmation that the order was received and then a text that it was ready for pick-up. Arrived at the restaurant and they didn't have any idea of the order and made no effort to compensate the problem. Disappointing.Edit: The burrito I had was really good but they need to figure their ordering system out.
