Went here for our anniversary because it was convenient, we are landrys members and expected it to be fine dining or close to it. I kept looking across the street at chik fil a. They can learn a lot about customer service. Management never went to greet any table. He just stood there looking pretty. Food was mediocre at best. Oyster arrived dry and I was told thats how they are supposed to be, with the funny smell and all. Service is super slow. I would never return. $4 for undercooked bread. There are several other choices in the same mall. Try Mortons or anyplace else if you want to have a good meal. But this location is a hard pass for me. We used to visit oceanaire in Atlanta monthly as it was walking distance to our condo this one in Hackensack is a total Joke!!
Thereâs a minimum expectation when youâre ordering the most expensive entrees on the menu that your meal will be prepared to order on at minimum the second attemptâ¦never mind the 3rd attempt that I had to cancel due to the amount of time it was taking to serve, again. Glad this wasnât a special occasionâ¦you know, like my fatherâs 91st Birthday that we were celebrating. The management staff never even apologized for the unbelievably poor meal we were âservedâ. Instead they, the 2 of them, let my waiter deal with their lack of professionalism (the managers) and incompetence of the kitchen team. If youâre only interested in having a drink at the barâ¦go for it. Thinking about having a dinner or celebrating a special occasion, think again. Pathetic.
The food was fresh as always. The place was sort of empty, which gave us the full attention of the waiter and staff.
Excellent food and service
Prices were extremely high considering what we got. $62 for scallops was outrageous. Yes, I know I ordered it but I expected more. Also, as soon as our appetizers were finished our entrees were brought out. Zero time to breathe in between courses. And the restaurant was not completely full so why rush us.
Our waiter Dan was amazing and made my friendâs 50th birthday spectacular!
As always we enjoyed quality food that was plated well and served excellently by Dan. He was very knowledgeable about oysters and helped us to pick from the offerings. I have dinned there many times before and will be back soon.
Great food. Great service. Great ambiance. Overpriced. They even charge for bread. A side of spinach is $14. Drinks are great but too small. Overall terrific but stingy.
Warm towel service at the end of our meal caped off a great overall experience! Food was exquisite, and service was fantastic!
Great place - food quality is outstanding, but theyâd stopped all of the extraâs that made it very special - no relish tray, no bread, some tables got hot towel service and others didnât. Itâs still a great place with delicious food, but not as special as it once was.
