I dont like leaving reviews less than 5 stars but I have to say the food wasn't great. Very nice people. Salad good. French onion soup not hot enough. Calamari OK. NY strip steak no flavor at all and chicken Marsala did not taste like Marsala. We really wanted to like it. Been living in the area for over 30 years and finally first time trying it. Nice ambiance. I'm sure there are better dishes on the menu as I could tell they have regulars coming in the restaurant.

Started going there about 20 years ago every Thursday night after work with co workers for really good roast beef sandwiches. Then a change in jobs stopped me from going due to being out of the area. I was in the area with my 2 sons and decided to take them there.. I was like what the hell happened to this place? Not crowded and the service was awful.. menu had changed drastically as did the prices.. the food we ordered was not up to par and not cooked to our specifications.. I really don’t wanna hear about supply chain issues or lack of getting help or inflation. Many other restaurants have gone thru all these issues and still are great.. there is no excuse for poor quality.. I’d avoid this place

The food was excellent the service was great. Very comfortable atmosphere. Will definitely go again

031322 all you can eat Corned Beef, delicious meal.

this place was horrible. the only menu that u gave us was the specials and got aggravated when we said is there anything else. me and my friends chicken was absolutely raw. pink and was so gross. the highlight was the fries and that little dip that was only mildly good. first and last time coming. there was a roach that crawled out and then on top of the ketchup. so disappointed.

A NJ staple, this diner brings back so memories and serves as an icon in this city. Simple straightforward meals, great specials, and an awesome old school joint for live music. Keep rocking on guys.

47 yrs old. Went here my whole life while living here, good seafood and great variety, and a huge amount of space. Moved to Florida 8 months ago and visited NJ (reluctantly) so we decided to go.The place changed immensely! Instead of the expansive menu they always had, it is now a piece of paper. The fried calamari that was always a staple was over breaded and about 7 dollars more than the last time I went. Everything was very expensive. It was sad. I'm sure many of the awful things going on in the world has a lot to do with the changes and it's out of their control if they want to be in business. Sad where our country is now. Food was still pretty good over all

This restaurant that's absolutely amazing. Super huge portions of food. A friendly staff that catered to my every need. The waiter saw that I was a trucker from out of town, so he made excellent recommendations. I had calamari, clam chowder soup, king cut prome rib, onion rings, Cole slaw, and mixed veggies.

Had a craving for prime rib end cut last night I hadn't been there for a while and it was really good!... The au jus and horseradish brought out the full flavor!Next time I may have the fish there or maybe I'll have the prime rib again!... Roast beef is always a good choice there also fyi...Terrific waitress provided bery good service by the name of Yaneth.R.E.

I went here with my husband for his birthday with a group of people. We ordered an Italian Chicken sandwich with roasted red pepper and fresh mozzarella. It came out cold. And we ate an hour and a half after ordered The service was not good and they should have told us that they added the gratituty to the bill overall this was a terrible restaurant.
