First visit for some of us, and second for others. Ambiance is beautiful classic charm with careful attention paid to updates. Food is full of favorites with new and fresh twists. Crispy chicken and short ribs were two of our favorites but it was the lamb burger that brought one of our guests back. Prices are very fair, portions are generous and staff is friendly and professional.
Unfortunately, sometimes it's a hit or miss. One day burger tastes amazing and the other day it doesn't taste good. Their pretzel is good tho. Drinks are pricey for what u pay.
Looked for a Gastropub in the area to go for lunch on a cold, rainy April day. Stumbled upon this local gem.The decor was a bit dark but the service was fantastic and the food was fresh and delicious.The poutine fries are served with pickled jalapeños which brought a fresh pop of flavor to a classic savory snack. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with a side Caesar salad and both were absolutely delicious.
This is by far the WORST dining experience I have ever had. The waiter was so nice. But once we got our food. No one came back to our table for 30+ minutes. Even after trying to grab multiple staff members attentions. The place wasn’t even busy at the time. After I told the manager about my issues, he wasn’t apologetic one bit. He gave us our bill and walked away. I do not recommend this place. Many other bars around the area with ALOT better service. We will def not come back
We love the atmosphere and service too.!During the happy hour, you can enjoy delicious bites with $3 only?Hackensack local beers were good.Our favorite was Musket Haze?
Excellent! This is a great restaurant. I would recommend a reservation just in case, as the bar and restaurant fill up quickly. The mixed drinks are refreshing and the beer list was well rounded. The chicken sandwich with herbed mayo was sublime. The charcuterie board is a great starter. Can’t go wrong here.
The food is so good that I forgot to take photos of each entree & app! Definitely must try the Poutine, Garlic Shrimp, Lamb Burger & Shepherd’s pie. You’re welcome in advance.

Great pub! This what a Pub should be. Good food, local people and good times. Owner and staff very friendly. Good cocktail list. Food os delish, whether you came to have appetizers and drink or full out dine.
