My husband ordered from here and paid extra so the driver would come upstairs becauseHe was home alone with our 3 year old and 8 month old. The driver arrived an HOUR later and had the nerve to be rude and refuse to come upstairs. The service and food is better at Great Wall Teaneck, order there if you can.
NO STARS HERE !I just ordered my “Lunch Special” from New Great Wall and selected the free soup option on the special. Advertised on their menu @ $8.00. When it was actually delivered, they charged me separately for the soup, and gave me an unrequested soda for “free” instead. When I called to tell them they made an error, the manager there refused to honor their own menu pricing (a current menu attached to today’s bill) and would not subtract the additional $4.50 charge for the soup from my bill. Plus, a $2.00 delivery fee. While still on the phone discussing this issue with the store manager, the delivery person picked up my food and left with it, (saying “I’m too busy”). But it made no difference since, regardless of what the menu says, the manager would not delete the soup charge from my bill. Very frustrated, very disappointed, and right now, still VERY HUNGRY!!!!False advertising is simply very bad business. It is no wonder these guys now call this place the "New Great Wall" and have reinvented themselves. With no respect for customers and fake pricing, they probably need to create a new Google/Yelp listings every few years to wipe out honest negative reviews.
I’ve been ordering from this place for at least 2 years now and there has never been any issues until now. We have ordered at least once a week consistently and our orders are always around $40- over $50. They got 2 out of 4 of my orders WRONG and had the audacity to ask for the wrong food back. For what? That’s disgusting. After going back and forth and them treating me like they don’t know me, they agreed to send over the right order which was plain chicken wings with plain fried rice. They initially sent the wings covered in sauce I didn’t even ask for. You know what they did? They called back to tell me that they didn’t need the wrong order back but failed to tell me why. They ended up delivering ONLY the wings. So now it’s already 8pm and I initially placed the order at 6. At this point I told them don’t even bother sending the rice, it’s late. They sent it over anyway after I asked for a refund instead. They told me a manager would call me. An hour goes by, still no call. I called back, speak to a manager who tells me I have to return the food for a refund. At this point, I’m skeptical as to what they will do with it.she proceeds to tell me she has to confirm with the driver if the food was given back to him to confirm whether or not I should get a refund. I will be calling the department of health Bc this has to be a health violation.
They hardly give you a full container of food. They forgot the soda n it cost over 14 $ . Never again
Awful!! Their shrimp and broccoli gave my partner and his 7-year old food poisoning and then tried to say it must have been something else they ate. Save your stomach the trouble and go somewhere else!
Fried tofu (115 menu) very nice??You must try this Crispy tofu.Their service was good too.Sweet and sour chicken was not what I thought. I expected something like orange chicken from panda express but the sauce was more watery.Good thing is they gives you free rice for each dishes. For take outs, they serve sauce and the fried food separately (sauce for sweet and sour chicken, not in d pic.)
General Tao’s tofu is my favorite.. I love this place! Never disappoints :)
Food is disgusting. First time I had it the rice was not cooked thoroughly. Second time I ate it, the food was cold & worst of all I had food poisoning from it! Stay away!!
no good. tried them for first time. they were friendly but boneless ribs were awful and they didn't follow directions. will not go back there
