We showed up for Sunday brunch with a large group. The owner and staff treated us like family and rearranged the dining area so that we all could be comfortable. The food was fresh, light, and flavorful. Perfect for a relaxing meal with friends. After our brunch, we wandered the gardens for a bit, enjoying nature and the peaceful vibes. Can't wait to visit again!

Love coming here as often as I can. Such a cute vibe, plus located on such beautiful garden grounds with garden and craft shops. And the food…. Absolutely amazing!

Wonderful little place to eat. Great food, great service. The gardens were wonderful to walk thru. Definitely looking forward to going back.

I’ve never had a worse experience at a dining establishment. I, my sister, and our mother were treated so rudely. I’ve never had an experience with a server like that in my life (and I’m 56 years old). The food was sub par as well

Very nice place. The food was fantastic.

The worst lunch ever..Everything tasted old and steal..Horrific menu...Stay home and make your own meal... it will be so much better.Very disappointing!!!

I got a coffee to-go with 1 cupcake and it came to $8.26. I was surprised by such a hefty price, considering I poured my own coffee and it was terribly weak. The cupcake on the other hand was delicious. For $8 I would have expected a latte and not a bland cup of joe.I hope there’s plans for an espresso machine in the future with fair pricing. I would be a regular, if so.Despite the steep price and bad coffee, this place is charming and I look forward to visiting in the spring and summer with the gardens in bloom.

The Tulip Tree Cafe at Calgo Gardens is a simply wonderful spot. Restorative, beautiful, always the freshest food. Staff is warm, friendly, and charming. Yes, in these days of labor shortages, you need a bit of patience and you may have to ask for your check. But the alternative is the place that gives you an hour and rushes you out to flip the table. The food is simple and menu small and changes seasonally. Prices are mid-range. In season, they try to use food directly from the garden. Baked goods are astounding. It's not for everyone, Keep and open mind and enjoy how they do what they do, rather than entering with unrealistic expectations. Incredibly welcoming to solo diners as well. A neighborhood treasure!

Great service. Even better is the food! Fresh and delicious. What else could you ask for? Looking forward to coming back.

My mother just planned a baby shower at the tulip tree cafe and it was the perfect day at the perfect spot. The fresh farm to table food was perfection and the service was outstanding. Would recommend over and over again for a private event.
