Delicious food, great service and owner is terrific!
Last Friday 8/5/22 very disappointed. Usually the food is excellent but something must have gone wrong in the kitchen. The special was $33! for home made pasta with lumps of crab meat. Pasta was under cooked and the lumps of crab meat were about a tablespoon of crab meat. He took off $20 for the complaint.
The food and service at Solo is always outstanding. We have been going to this neighborhood gem for over 10 years. It is our go to restaurant for Italian food.

Located in the heart of Freehold’s downtown, is Solo Trattoria !Being greeted by a friendly staff, and George, the owner, sets the tone for a pleasant & enjoyable dining experience.The menu is filled with exquisite appetizers, salads, entrees, homemade specialties and main course choices, (which made it difficult to decide) so our waiter Freddie stepped in and graciously explained the day’s specials & menu dishes, and helped make recommendations.Our meal remains deliciously memorable; and the service and atmosphere was truly 5 Stars !

First time at Solo - and definitely not the last! Was there for lunch with dear friends and had the best time - staff is super friendly and attentive - food was over the moon! We all tried something we would never be able to make at home, and are we glad we did! Make a reservation today - you will be making many more to come - ha! And it is BYOB - such a variety of made from scratch menu items - Giorgio the owner is from Rome - you will feel like you are in Rome when you are eating - Mangia!
