My wife and I really enjoyed our first visit to this great Italian restaurant. The stuffed paccheri appetizer was excellent and the “real” Caesar salad was delicious. Our entrees were also very good.
During the pandemic it was hard to find a good restaurant with pleasant outdoor seating. The service was friendly and attentive and the waiter's recommendations were excellent. Although the prices were a little high, the fact that it was a BYOB helped.
Our friends have raved about Vincent’s for the past year. We finally got there and have eaten there three times in the past month. The food is excellent, great portions and good service. So nice out on the patio, Highly recommend Vincent’s!
Ordered Chicken Vino Blanco and Chicken Piccata. Both dishes came to the table looking almost exactly the same except a few ingredients. The chicken breast a nice portion was white, no caramelization here. A definite red flag of the expertise in the kitchen. Both dishes were on a lake of sauce. Vegetable was soggy water laden zucchini and barely cooked carrots. Again these should have been caramelized to bring out the flavor and not quick poached. Instead of pasta, both dishes was served with mashed potatoes. A real turn-off in an Italian Restaurant. The Chicken Vino Blanco had canned/jarred artichoke hearts and must have been jarred shitake. The shitake were definitely just heated because again it was just soggy. The service was not good either, with us having to ask the waiter about the specials. I took home half the Chicken Vino Bianco and cooked it better than came out of Vincent's Kitchen. Out thoughts as we were leaving, we just blew $20 each entree. Should have went to Princeton. Also the sauce was thickened probably with flour because on the reheat on high heat, the flour was browning. Had to deglace the pan with Chicken Stock since I only had red wine. Will definitely not be coming back here. It was just super disappointing and terrible.
My husband and i have eaten here about 6 times since outdoor dining started. Every time we have been very pleased with dinner and service. The servers are all fabulous and attentive. The food is great. We have tried many dinners and appetizers and there was nothing we didn’t like. We will definitely continue eating here.
Awesome service! Awesome food! 1st time here and we loved it. The only thing I would change is the chicken had a harsh-charcoal taste where it was grilled-where the black lines are on it. The whole meal was still amazing regardless! Will come back solely for the penne vodka! Also the outdoor seating was nice and peaceful. Separated nicely and servers were wearing masks. You can tell everything is fresh!
Brought in a coupon for $25.00 and they decided that they would honor only $15.00 of it. No explanation. Very disappointing; not the discount but the attitude and the arbitrary decision. We go here at least twice per month. Never again! They lost a customer and reputation for $10.00. What a waste !
Dinner for four on a Sunday evening. Place was empty which was fine with my party. This a BYOB also. Ordered the clams oreganato which were terrible. I would not be surprised if this dish was of the frozen variety you get in the frozen food section of the supermarket. Also ordered two salads. One which was Panzanella was excellent. The other was a caesar salad which was soggy and did not get eaten. I ordered linguine pesto with shrimp. The shrimp were very tasty but the pesto was terrible. Oily and flavorless. Another diner had linguine carbonara which was slightly more tasty but not really any good. It was only half eaten by the diner. The two other diners had filet mignon which they said was very good. The desserts were acceptable, $9.50 for a lava cake was kinda high but thats what desserts are costing these days. My bill was over $200 including tip which was high for the mediocre food. Pass on this restaurant.
Excellent food and superb service. Our favorite go to place!
This family run Italian BYOB was excellent. Sauces were great and owners very friendly and happy to help
