Whenever I’m craving hot pot but don’t want to sit down for a long meal at a restaurant, I always come here. You get to pick your own ingredients and they cook them for you - either dry or in a soup. I’ve ever only gotten the dry hot pot and it’s been really good every time. I tell them to not make it spicy for me, but the food still has a lot of flavor! Otherwise, even the mild version burns my mouth. I’ve gotten the skewers as well and they’ve been good.
Taste pretty good. I just wish they could be generous with portion size. I ordered 2lbs (which is 2 person portion) and was pretty much same as 1 person portion that I ordered last time. I really like your restaurant so please be accurate with portion size with website orders! Thank you
I really enjoy coming to Work Bar for Dry Hot Pot. This was my second time, and the flavor of my extra spicy dry hot pot was even better than the first. What I enjoy is the ability to choose what you're placing in your hot pot. The raw ingredients area is very well organized, clean and cold. It's clearly defined what new items I'd like to try.The flavor of dry pot was very good too. For me, the spiciest level they have isn't that spicy, but it's very flavorful. Even the shrimp, shells on, got the sauce and seasoning penetrated. Nice and crunchy texture for the veggies, and the beef strips are great too.The staff are hospitable and attentive but not intrusive. I appreciate that. This place is going to be a regular for sure.
The food is amazing. Great staff very comfortable eating areas.
Create your own Sichuan food. It’s decent, but I most likely won’t go back. Here they make a soupy hot pot or a dry hot pot with the ingredients you choose. You place the ingredients in a large bowl. They weigh it to price it, and cook it for you.You choose the spice level. I went with the highest level. Not that spicy.I have nothing bad to say about this place, but also nothing that great either. The service was nice, the food was okay. It’s just not a place I want to go back to.
Best Dry pot chinese restaurant in Fort Lee, food is super delicious. Price is a bit expensive, but its worthy considering the quality of the food. Kind of a semi buffet restaurant, price is on weight of the raw food taken. Food can be made highly or meidum spicy. Highly recommended.
Great food and unique flavor. But this last time not so good. I found a piece of pork in my noodles. I do not eat any pork as you can imagine I was furious . I also agree with the other reviewer, as I was walking in I saw the man on the milk crate smoking away, very nasty to see that in a food place. Once my leeks were full of dirt. They don't thoroughly clean there vegetables.
The dry hot pot was good and had decent options of ingredients to choose from. Service was friendly.
Okay seriously this is now my favorite place for spicy food. I’ve tried so many spots and this hidden gem is it for me! You get to create your own bowl of any meat, veges, carbs etc and they cook it in a wok to your liking and spice level. I’m from somewhere where the spicier the food, the better and I told them that I wanted the highest spice level. This was so so good, very spicy even had a few teardrops in my eyes but it was the kinda spicy that has such great rich flavor not just burn. 10/10 I’ll be a regular, they are also on Uber eats!
