I've always loved this bakery ever since they were at their old location. The quality of bread and taste is as good as ever! The tiger milk tea was too sweet for my taste but if you are a boba lover, they are generous with the tapioca balls in your drink!My favorite bread/pastry was the Portuguese egg tart and the tuna bread. They're also known for their croissants, cakes, and other pastries.Parking is in the municipal lot. There are outdoor seatings for the warmer weathers.I went around 3pm and many of the breads were sold out so you should go early if you want a wider selection of breads.
If you love bread, then this is the place to go! I was excited to see this place nearby, since i used to go to their other location in Fort Lee. Overall, all the breads and milk tea I've tried were so delicious! I especially loved the Chicken Cheese bread, which was stuffed with a good amount of chicken inside :)Staff was very friendly and they put my choices of bread in a cute box for takeout purposes. Their selection of cake was pretty decent so definitely would love to come back here again to try those next time.Overall, very good experience and highly recommend!

Good place to buy some pastries and bread. They have seating outside so you could buy coffee and enjoy that with some pastries and cake outside. I definitely will go back here with more people
Located next to one of my favorite Vietnamese restaurants, I usually stop by both places in a single trip. If you can't make it to a Brooklyn or a Chinatown bakery, Sunmerry is a good option. Prices are a bit higher but the buns are just as buttery and good. I had a corn bun, which I hadn't had in forever, so it tasted extra good. We also tried a tiramisu cream puff, but that tasted a bit stale.This location is pretty clean, with plenty of seating.
absolutely flabbergasted. This is a bakery gone to quite frequently on our part before and came for the first time in a while, but today we saw something that should not have been seen at a place of salesmanship. We were sold an expired pastry with mold on the outside, when we saw it, we returned to complain. The cashier instead touched the inside of the pastry without any gloves or in any sanitary way saying "let me see the inside" as well said it was “from the packaging and the cover of the pastry” and gave it BACK TO US without refunds or without a proper apology. She then proceeded to explain "if it was mold it would not look like this it would be worse and besides this was made TODAY" this is terrible customer service and i will not be coming here again and I do not advise you to go here anytime soon.
It would be a pleasure to write about my experiences at SunMerry Backery & Cafe! This is my all time favorite bakery! I love the vibe of the place, you can dine-in, they offer inside & outside dining. The staff here is super friendly and takes great care of you in timely fashion. Not to mention, there bread is just oh-so GOOOOOOODDDD. Its relaxed atmosphere is good for just kicking back & reading, enjoying a nice outing with friend or even a date. You can bring your laptop and get work done, or play games, whatever! There's even a lovely restaurant right next door you can grab lunch or dinner than have desert right next door at SunMerry Backery. Yo, If you don't know now you know, this place is definitely a GO!
