When the meal started and the bonchon was amazing, I thought I was in for a life changing meal. Sadly, it wasn't the case. Nothing else was as good as the cucumbers. The seafood pancake was also good though. The japchae and the galbi were okay and the army stew was not good.
Really delicious ? probably my most visited restaurant of all time. My entire family loves this place. If Anthony Bourdain recommended it then it’s definitely good ?
Really good Sundubu. Get it with the oysters so that it has a nice seafood flavor in it! Love their kimchi here too.
Good service and food. The bibimbap came in a nice hot stone pot and had all the classic ingredients. The soup that came with it was also very flavorful. I highly recommend getting the seafood pancake as a starter. Lots of seafood and great texture.
The menu choices are limited, but the price is decent comparing to other tofu house. I ordered the mixed seafood tofu soup. You basically get what you paid for, seafood and tofu proportion is like 1:2. Not really impressed with the quantity & quality. I think I would go rather pay little more to go the other tofu houses in the area.
Probably best soondubu I have in NYC. The soup base is so rich especially when you order seafood related style. Side dishes options are limited but well executed. Famous ribs are good as well but little bit too sweet in my opinion. Definitely worth visit again.
Great Korean tofu spot. Prices were decent and the food was tasty. The spiciness wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be so a plus for that. Korean pancake and steak are good sides to share.
Tasty, comforting soft tofu soups, cozy atmosphere. Been coming to this place for at least 15+ years, since I was a child.I've noticed them trying to reinvent themselves a bit to keep up with competitors and I sincerely wish them well, as this is still my favorite spot for soon tofu. Locals all know the food here is way tastier than BCD's :p
Overall food was pretty good. Galbi and soft tofu ramen were really, but the seafood pancake needs a little work. Seafood pancake lacked flavor but galbi made up for it.
Such a good value! Their price stuck in 20 years ago. Fast and precise service. It’s average traditional Korean food. But you won’t get a better deal anywhere.
