You want ambiance? This is not the place. It is a butcher shop that ages its own steaks and added seating for those who want to dine at their place. Wonderful steaks, well prepared and amazing to experience. The lamb shops and side dishes are also a perfect choices to add to your meal.
Pros : Our Tomahawk was cooked to perfection! Loved that they bring it out to you before they cook it. Once cooked - it comes with grilled garlic and this amazing truffle salt! We also enjoyed the grilled vegetables and mashed potatoes. BYOBCons : Expensive! Bread was stale, Crème brûlée was okay.
Went to go try the steak since the reviews were pretty good, but the experience was not so pleasant. First the waitress was rude the whole time we were ordering to the time we finished eating. The portion is so tiny I was still hungry after consuming the food. Part of my steak was so burnt I couldn't even eat it. I never felt so hungry and mistreated after paying all this money to go eat.
My brother traveled from New York to treat me to dinner for my birthday tonight. He had made a reservation but when we arrived 30 minutes early at 5:30, it was completely empty. We chose a table by the window and ordered. After realizing it was BYOB my brother drove 5 minutes away to the liquor store to grab a bottle of wine. The shrimp cocktail app was good. The shrimp were huge and juicy. The bacon, I wish we skipped. There was a lot of fat on it and it didn't taste like anything without the bbq sauce or mustard. The kimchi fried rice was good but I wish the egg yolk was over easy instead of over hard. We ordered the dry aged rib eye for two and asked for medium rare. What we got was medium WELL. The server recommended the tiramisu for dessert and I'm glad I chose it because it was very moist and not too sweet. My brother was pretty disappointed that he brought me here and promised he'd take me to a different restaurant in New York next year. I was just glad to finally spend some time with him. I wouldn't recommend this place for the steak but it's a nice quiet place for chatting over shrimp cocktail and kimchi fried rice.
Great local steak restaurant. We both ordered the 6oz petite filet which had a little more fat on it then I would have liked. Steak is served with finishing salt on the side. The mushroom risotto was really good, the mashed potatoes were basic, but the caprese salad looked amazing on the table next to ours. This is a SMALL place with the tables closer together than I prefer. There are about 10 parking spots in the parking lot which is nice and it’s BYOB which is fantastic. We will definitely go again.
Incredible meat selection and quality. Highly recommend ?
Love it and their stiletto steak knives. BYOB good sides super nice
This is a place that stays consistent for years. We have been coming here for our last 4 anniversaries and the food mever dissapoints. The oysters are clean, fresh and perfect gems. The octopus is perfectly soft and crispy. The steak is always phenomenal. My eyes are bigger than my stomach and we always try something new. Thank you for keeping quality 1000%!
Really great place for steak! Growing up I've never been to a steakhouse. My family never went out to eat often, so I finally hot a chance to grab one here and it was amazing! I'm korean so I enjoyed the green onion salad to compliment the steak. I was recommended to get the porterhouse and kimchi fried frice. It did not disappoint! Total was $250 for two but I think that's great value for the quality.
