Absolutely amazing experience, very friendly staff, the quality of the food was top notch, the different selections were unique and varied. My only complaint is when we requested more broth, they filled it with boiling water without adding any more hot pot flavoring to it, all the extra water diluted the flavor of the hotpot.
Great food and atmosphere
Good food - especially if you have a group with different tastes. Everyone can make their own hot pot, and there's a wide variety of choices. A word of warning: they say they're open until 10 PM, but they start turning people away whenever they feel like they're done for the evening. This time can vary. Get there before 8 if you don't want to be disappointed.
Our reservation was not honored. Which was upsetting because a lot of us came a long way through traffic across the toll bridges to get here for my sister’s birthday party. No calls, no text, no emails, no nothing. The host also served groups of people ahead of us, too which is really wrong so we ended up behind a long waiting list of people who walked in after us.I have eaten here once before with a friend just earlier this year so they must have changed their no reservation policy recently. Last time we’re here we didn’t get any service at the table requesting broth-replenishment, and the only attention we got was at l the end of the 90 minute limit where they just literally hustled us out.So my advice for y’all is to give them call even if you do make reservations.
This is the 1st time me and wife went. Food was great and awesome service. Checked and found out there is one located in Michigan as well. Will take family there to try it now.
Overall good AYCE hot pot. Nothing very special but nothing wrong. The Szechuan spicy broth isn’t good enough to though, not as good as the kpot special mushroom broth.
Rude hostess just wants to close the restaurant as soon as possible and doesn't make you feel welcomed. Server was inattentive and doesn't come around too often to see if you need anything or more broth. Not the best hot pot you can go to
It was a stressful dinner with friends. I understand that if you have left overs they will charge $15. Some people order and don't even finish it. You have 90 min to eat. Sometimes you want to relax but you're looking at the time all the time and make sure there is no left over. What a stressful dinner! The meat was paper thin once you put it in the boiling soup it disappear. They have Kobe beef, and I know exactly what it is. I ask the waiter if it is really Kobe beef and I asked him to tell the truth, you know how expensive is beef from Kobe? He said no it is not Kobe Beef. We ordered Tempura (expecting Shrimp deep fry with batter) no it was fish cake. Deceiving! For $31.00 per head not worth it. Never again!
I've been to different locations of this chain and I have to say this location is my favorite for a few reasons. First is the variety of selections for the hot pot - some of the popular items (like the oysters) aren't available at other locations. Second is the quality of the ingredients - I can truly taste the difference here. It's always fresh and of premium quality. Although it is a little pricey, the selections and quality are what set them apart from their competitors in my opinion.
Great experience for ppl like me who haven’t done this before. Custom broth, that you can season to your liking, unlimited toppings noodles and more. Great value $30 a person, only thing that didn’t hit was the thinly sliced chicken. Everything else from kobe beef to seafood bangs
