Was looking for good katsu place in NJ and gave it a shot here.Original pork katsu was awesome. Surface batter is super crispy and pork inside is very tender, no complaint. However, cheese katsu wasn’t so great. Pork wasn’t as tender as that of original katsu. They first shape the pork katsu like mini bowl and pour cheese in it. So I’m guessing the shaping part is what makes the pork less tender. My main minus points for this place are1. It wasn’t that well organized inside the restaurant so didn’t feel very good and relaxing for dining in.2. It was bit shocking to me that they 100% use only plastic/one-off packaging even for those who dine-in. Too much waste.Might come here again to pick up their original katsu, once in a while.

So delicious the pork cutlet is tender and crispy goes beautifully with the curry and rice! Also don't forget to try their boba I got the honeydew and that was probably the best boba I've had in a while!

A hidden gem near the Fort Lee community center and FLPD. Best Donkatsu I’ve ever tasted in the area. Very friendly and courteous staff, clean restroom and no nonsense environment (you clean your own table after your eating) Love this place!04/14/2022 Update: tried their chicken Katsu today and it was also very delicious ?

One of the best katsu I've tried outside Japan and Hawaii. The breading is perfectly light and crispy. The proportion of breading to meat is well balanced and seasoned. The side of curry is equally delicious and could be a delicious meal on its own. One order was enough for 2 meals. Highly recommend the chicken and shrimp katsu.

Once upon a time to my knowledge everyone was positive and polite….than the proclaimed manager/ owner. It was Always pleasant when we went there a little place on the corner of Anderson oh the food was delicious. One day however my spouse threw up after eating the spring. After I search one of the shrimp still had the waist vein inside. I called politely because no need to be nasty to people who have always been pleasant but this time the owner come to the phone. She was the nastiest business owner I have ever encountered in America!!!!!!!!!! I expected “o this is unusual we can offer another order shrimp next visit or o a refund for the shrimp”.We we not trying to hustle for shrimp, if we didn’t have the money to buy shrimps we wouldn’t . We simply wanted to enjoy what we paid for , since we threw out the shrimp after the throw up session. This was the first time this had happened there so we were not upset with the business so the call was rather in amicable nature but when the owner that got on the phone And was the nastiest.I live in a Korean town I have tons of interactions with places of Asian ownership. However I have never heard a owner speak to a guest or a patron that way in my life. I was disappointed and surprised and appalled. She said” why You call here? Don’t call here again don’t come back here!” ? screaming I was so shocked I only looked at the phone. Who speaks like that to a patron that approaches them amicably? Lovely workers nasty owner that speaks to patrons as if they are beneath and she is over them.I reported to the consumers affairs with pictures and will continue. She was nastiest owner who needs to learn customer service from her workers.

I've had the Chicken Katsu and the Cheese Donkatsu and can't wait to try the other menu items as they're all so good ? the meat is tender and the breading is crispy! The definition of cooked to perfection. ✨

One of the best breading of any katsu I’ve ever had. Great taste, great price.

Crispy and savory fried chicken! Good for take out and they also have some seating indoors. Would come again.

Ordered for takeout — SO good! We got the pork, beef, shrimp, curry, and the other sauce. The sides of rice are huge (plus the meals come with rice, which we didn’t know). The meat was so tender and the crust was so crispy. The pork was truly amazing. The serving sizes are also amazing for the price. Can’t wait to come back!

Delicious Japanese style katsu (deep fried cutlet). The protein is soft and tender and the breading feels light. Best to have when fresh. It’s made to order so it takes about 15 mins, I recommend you order ahead. Pork katsu is my favorite. They cheese is also good but very heavy. They also have a Korean-style donkatsu, the pork is pounded flat. You order at the counter and everything is packed for takeout but you can eat it in-store if space allows.
