Chicken parm pizza was the best!Fantastic flavor with just the right crust without being greasy. Will be back for more!!!
Great pizza and great staff, could use refurbishment though. On the bright side, everything here is retro and this pace has a real vibe! Would recommend!
We had the best Grandma pie last night. Crust was perfect! We ordered it well done and it was crunchy, the mozzarella and basil were generous and yummy! My husband loved the Eggplant Rollatini and only left me one bite because he inhaled it! I’m so thrilled they deliver to Alpine and I wouldn’t care if they charged $10.00 for a fee after paying crazy prices for Door Dash and Uber Eats. Best pizza in New Jersey and I love the staff!
They switched owners but kept cook staff and recipes. Wonderful spaghetti bolognese...my favorite. Large portions just like previous owner. Good value and quick,courteous service.
$14.50 for a chicken roll (half raw) and a slice (slice was ok). They got two stars instead of one because the service was good. There will bot be a next time.
Always make my way from NY for this. Best slices around and great sauce.
Excellent food at great price. We picked this place because it was “in between” for a large group of us coming from several different places. The food, service, and prices were excellent. Only issue is there was not really any indoor seating for a group. A few small indoor booths for 4, not conducive to a larger group who want to chat. Small groups, families, take out, or in nice weather (there are a few tables outside that can hold a larger group) this is a must try.
I would give 4 and 1/2 stars if it was possible; all was pretty tasty fresh and well made plus the service is to notch from this family business. Just 2 notes, pizza slices were not hot enough soups were great but I’d recommend the chef to add some bacon or pancetta and a bit of cream in the pasta fagioli soup. Otherwise it’s a great find.
Despite living in the area for 15 years I ordered from here only a handful of times. I thought it was just okay and nothing special. I never tried their plain pie until yesterday. My opinion has changed. Their cheese pizza is a work of art. Perfect balance of saltiness, tang, sweetness (very little), richness, herbs, crispness, moisture. Maybe the only small complaint is its a bit chewy but admittedly I am really reaching. Barstool's rating is legit and well deserved even though the ownership has changed since then.
