Food was great! drove 4 hours to try this place.But service was horrible. Kind of expected it to be not to great but whatever.We decide to pay tip 18 % even if it was horrible because it seemed like they where short staffed, and we also know what that feels like. After we packed up our food to go, we said goodbye to the owner, and went and sat in our car and waited to leave. Immediately after we got in our car. The owner came rushing outside towards us. We had thought maybe we forgot something. When we opened the window she asked us what we had written as the total, when I responded 105 in korean she immediately started to yell things at us in korean like "this isn't right" "you cannot do this" "you are horrible". When she finally had to stop yelling to breathe I asked her what was the matter, and she said how can we pay tip 6$ on a 100$ bill..She then showed me the bill again and I told her we had tipped 17$ and the bill was 88$. She took then looked at the bill again and apologized once in English and left to go back inside.She was so rude and said so many hurtful things, even IF we had only tipped 6$ that choice is up to the customer and she cannot harass them for the decision. Could have been a simple misunderstanding but the language she used was so harsh. It was such an upset to a great meal we had traveled for.
Food is delicious.ButEvery time we went to there, waited for around 30-40mins to pick up our food because too many people were outside and waited for their food in front of us, no way we could reach to the front desk and staff never came out and asked us. So frustrated.
They are playing with food. For take out foods, they don’t give all. They always, miss something. Today is horrible. They put only half of GAJATang in a container. I called the owner and complained about it but she said it is normal. I am not going there anymore it is Insane.
We have tried the gamjatang, dwaeji gukbap, jokbal, and modeum sundae here. None of the dishes disappoint so I recommend this small restaurant if you are craving or want to try any of these dishes.
So you should know, the food is great. Can’t deny that.But the service? Is like that of a third world nation.forget lines, forget being called in order,Be ready to fight your way into the tiny store and do some “survival of the fittest” style dining.If that’s not your thing, I imagine it isn’t, just do pick up or delivery.
best place for gook bap(korean stew with rice) in jersey I've eaten. definitely recommend, but place is small so you may have to wait. I've tried it to go and it was still good. parking in rear.
Mom and pop store with limited seating but awesome food! I'm from busan so I decided to give it a try and I wasnt let down.

The food is great! High quality, the sundae gulf has an abundance of sundae and pork mixed in. The broth is great as well. The prices are quite cheap, except the slightly more high end dishes. There are not a lot of spaces to dine in, so there may occasionally be a wait.
