Probably the best Cantonese Dim Sum Place in Jersey. I would prefer a bit less salt in the food but it's still very authentic taste. We had Feng Zhua, pork short rib, bacon wrapped Shrimp, Cha sew bund, Salt and pepper fish, Egg tart.Would definitely come back.
Extremely authentic Chinese food and very fresh. Be warned that the price reflect the impressive ingredients they use but it is very worth it! I will be back soon!
I have been here several times for takeout and was excited to finally dine in to enjoy the dim sum carts. We came at around 1pm on a Sunday. The wait time was about 35min. Once we were seated the dim sum carts were right by us asking if we wanted any of the options. We tried a variety of options that included custard egg buns, steamed pork buns, baked pork buns, spring rolls, and pineapple buns. Everything was good. The spring rolls were a little soft and stale for my liking but everything else was decent. Definitely a good option when not wanting to go to the city.
Nice place, very neat and clean. I really enjoyed it! The food was amazing and really tasty. The portions were bigger than I expected. The staff is really nice and kind. Definitely one of my favorite places in Fort Lee. ????
Best of best original authentic chinese food restaurants. You dont need to go to chinatown anymore. Try their amazing dimsum
Its okay. They have all of the standard dishes but you have to take into account this is in Fort Lee NJ and not NYC Chinatown or Flushing. The dishes arrived at our table all lukewarm which was a turnoff. Service was pretty good and it was clean inside. If you're already in NJ and don't want to travel to NYC, but you just gotta have some dim sum.
I came here for dim sum brunch because it was highly recommended by a friend. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. The restaurant was nice and clean. The food, however, was very oily and heavy. We had trouble eating past the 3rd dish with all of the oil and starch that's packed in each dish. It didn't leave a good aftertaste in my mouth, nor did I feel good afterward. The rice rolls were too thick and dry. The shrimp stuffed eggplants were dripping in oil. And the salt and pepper squid tasted mostly of grease. The pastries were good, but it's standard dim sum fare that was pre-made elsewhere.I love dim sum and usually love sampling different dishes. Unfortunately, Aquarius did not make it on my "go again" list.
Always packed on weekends. Most times I’ve had to wait over 30 minutes during peak lunch hours for a party of 2. Decent dim sum options at okay prices for the area. Noticed lots of people do take-out as well. Not enough food carts going around in my experience, so waiting for food to get to your table may take a while.
Food was fine but the service just ruined the experience. The servers don’t come to you and when you ask for them they come with cold eyes and don’t even wanna say a single word. My friend was charged 20 bucks more than our bill and the owner told her to come back to the restaurant in order to pick up the money. Not even an single apology. We ended up disputing with the credit card because there is no other way this restaurant would give back the money they owe us.
The food is legit! It tastes like our former go-to chinese dimsum place in Queens. The only downside is the restaurant is so small that we had to wait over an hour just to get seated. It was not their fault though since the service itself, once seated, was quick.I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. But I suggest you don't come super hungry since there might be a long waiting time if you arrive later than 11am.
