Wonderfully quaint restaurant. We were greeted warmly and welcomed to explore. We had a lovely lunch. The food is creative, delicious and nice portions. I was impressed with how they make everything on site from all the pastries and more. Would definitely go again!
Terrible service. Wouldn’t take our table order because was talking to a customer about catering. Carol wouldn’t let her assistants take our order either because she wanted them to help with the catering order. We walked out. Have been going there for years but never again.
Awesome brunch everything is made from scratch so it takes awhile
Good choices of cakes, cookies, and other delicious things. We have a brunch there, the menu choice was original and interesting, with a lot of good things to try. We enjoyed it.
I haven't tried any of their main entree foods, but their coffee is very bland, on a par with diner coffee. Yet a single average-size cup is about $4. I tried to buy a 3-pack of macaroons until I realized that it was $10 for a small package of macaroons. Unless it is exceptional, these are very expensive prices, but if their coffee is any indication, their food will be disappointing at best.
Overpriced barely average fare, though they perceive themselves as something really special. Huge egos, bad attitudes, slow service...all adding up to an unsatisfactory experience. It was bad enough that I won't give you a second chance, though I live just a few blocks away and walk by nearly daily.

Food is top notch. Carol and Norman take a lot of pride in preparing excellent food and it shows. Desserts melt in your mouth and everything is so tasty
Delicious! We had the ham and pear sandwich and the reuben special. Everything was really tasty and fresh. They sliced up the grapes for me without me asking when they saw I had a toddler with me. Very considerate.
