This has been our go-to since No.1 closed. The food has recently changed and not for the better. Our egg rolls were bland and soggy, they gave us gummy pork dumplings instead of vegetable, the chicken dish was super spicy and the fried rice had either 5-spice or some other perfume type spice that was not pleasant at all.
Terrible food and service. We ordered several main dishes and appetizers. Sent beef instead of chicken, ribs were burnt, no sauces for egg rolls. Smaller portions. Been going here for years but now its terrible and much more expensive. We called and complained and they really didn't care.
Had heard that the food was great from a number of people. It is a half hour away and we relied on the website that said it was a restaurant. It is a take out place only. Our delicious food was packed in a bag”to go” with 2 paper plates and when I asked for a cork screw, the answer was “no”. I will return for the food as the “Happy Family” was great! Food there is mediocre at best. I’ve tried it a couple times cause there’s really not much to choose from in the area that’s decent from a food perspective. Everything I’ve ordered is super greasy and not flavorful at all. I just ordered Pad Thai and the noodles were swimming in oil and they were all clumped together in a big ball. Ended up throwing it out.I say, if you don’t mind that, go for it. I think I’ve eaten there for the last time.
The menu and service were beyond my expectations. I surely enjoyed the vibes of this restaurant. Awesome restaurant to take the family out for dinner.
They were better before there was the accident with the corvette going through the front of the store. But still the best option in the area.
They reduced the portion sizes with the new segmented containers. Ordered chicken Pad Thai for $15 and they gave me a container with about half the portion plus it tasted nasty and dirty, like they cooked it in very dirty woks. Over all this place should be avoided at all costs. High prices, small portions, and dirty food.
