I ordered a couple of pita sandwiches on grubhub and it was horrid. I'm not sure if they simply do not know how to package a sandwich for delivery (I would have had to assemble my own from the included ingredients which is nuts with a pita). perhaps dining in this restaurant is a wonderful experience. But the meat tasted unappetizing to me and didn't seem to be grilled? I wound up throwing out the whole thing and ordering a second lunch. from somewhere else. My advice - avoid.
The best thing I had was the shawarma. I also had some nice eggplant and beef cigars, and acceptable hummus and falafel.
This place is amazing! Hands down some of the best food I’ve ever had. I’m a professional chef and extremely picky and I’ve never had something from there I didn’t love. The people there are lovely and sweet. I don’t even live in NJ anymore but whenever I’m home my husband and I make it a point to stop by there and get some chicken shawarma. My sister even had her bridal shower there before they closed down the spare room because of COVID and everyone was raving about the food. Love this place so much! ?
Literally feels like you are in Israel!!!The Schwarma is fantastic and the ambiance is authentically Israeli!!!Highly recommend!!!
