Great Bagels. Don’t understand the bad reviews. Been living here for 5 years. Have been coming every week.
The staff is very attentive to your order. You never have to repeat it more then once, the wait is never long. They are good and fast at making your order!
I was feeling really lousy on Monday and my wife suggested we get bagels and take a nice walk in the park. We ordered a bagel sandwich for me and a wrap for my wife. Ketchup on the wrap but not the bagel. I think ketchup on eggs is the nastiest thing ever. The kid working there had to ask us over and over what we ordered and it took FOREVER. I think he had to get bailed out by a nice girl working there because suddenly she was helping us instead. It was pricey but I can't really blame them for that considering how small shops are struggling plus the huge inflation going on right now.We get to the park and sit down at a bench to eat and I open the sandwich and the stench of ketchup flies swiftly through my nostrils and throughout the air. I almost gagged. We only told the kid four or five times what our sandwiches should be. It didn't help that the bottom of both the bagel and the wrap was soggy. The park was down the street. It's not as if it was sitting there for hours. Should we have checked our sandwiches first? Maybe. It's rude to do it right in front of them, and we wanted to get to the park since it took so long. That's our mistake. I couldn't eat it. I was feeling queasy from not eating all day as it is. Ketchup on eggs? Forget about it.I was going to bring it back but then...I felt like it wasn't the first time. I started reading reviews to see if I was being too hard on the shop because I was feeling so lousy as it is, and I see similar complaints. Then I saw the rude and nasty comments from the owner in reply to people's legitimate (and verified personally) complaints. Being tired, I didn't feel like going back and getting in a fight with the guy. That doesn't give me "satisfaction". Getting the order right without having to return it does.I guess the verdict is that yeah, it ruined my day, but your milage may vary.The walk in the park was five stars, though.
Bagels are never fresh when I order and the service takes for ever...maybe it's just me or maybe people just go there for convenience but the line is always out the door.
Not sanitary at all I watched the man scooping the cream cheese with his glove and spread it on my bagel.I never witnessed that ever.Completely disgusted.First and last time!
My husband and I stopped here after an appointment with our doctor. The food is good and so is the coffee!
Neighborhood staple. Delicious food and great homade items, seasonal dishes and bagels. They are fast but expect a line, it's that good. Call ahead works only if you order early enough. It gets so busy at certain points they can not take phone orders. Also don't be a jerk and call 10 am on Saturday/Sunday. 9am is the usual/respectable cut-off for phone orders. Owner is an awesome guy too, really nice! Blonde lady has worked there forever and knows everything! Staff are great too! Never a complaint!!!
The bagel itself was ok BUT the cream cheese tasked a little funky and my order wasn’t cut with a clean knife.

Excellent Bagel Cafe, with a great selection for breakfast and lunch. Awesome Egg sandwiches, Salads, Delicious Tuna and Egg salad, great selection of drinks. Billy the owner is a Super nice guy! He really cares about his customers satisfaction and takes great pride in his business. The shop has been in business for over 30 years!! Everything is made fresh right in front of you. Recommended local Bagel cafe
