The best wiener I've ever had!
Spectacular dog! The Frey family does an annual Hot Dog around the end of June/beginning of July. Johnny and hanges is a fan favorite and is always on our list of stops. Our favorite is the chili dog with sauce (cheese) the chili has great flavor and the dog itself has a nice crisp to it. Will always be a top tier dog!Until next year-The Frey family
My hubby brought me there to get the Johnny & Hanges experience which was famous when he was a teenager and I love it! The guys were nice and friendly. Will go back soon.
Had roast beef and gravy excellentHad dog all the way fantasticHad a cheese steak with peppers and onions and cheese, was OK.Hard to beat a real Philly cheese steak but was filling and good any way.

The food here is good and fresh, and the service is fast and friendly. A real mom-and-pop family business.Clean location, ample seating, parking is a little tight especially around peak hours.I brought half a sub home that I didn't eat with lunch, my wife had it and liked it so much she insisted I get her a full sub if her own the next time I went.
Very clean, including bathrooms, and pricing pretty good. 3 hot dogs (chili and/or sauerkraut), 1 soda and chili/cheese fries for $14. Hard to mess up hot dogs and fries but dogs boiled well, toppings seemed fresh and fries also fresh...only complaint is cheese used was real cheese so not melted overall... but again, real cheese! Haha... will come back to try some of their other options!
Growing up in Glen Rock, we went to the original Johnny and Hanges in Paterson. It was awesome back then. It has since changed a bit since moving to Fair Lawn. Hot dogs are still great but the “away” sauce has changed. I wasn’t too happy with it.
If your al all the way guy, our gal your gonna love this place. Friendly people the hot dogs were great. And the sauce was excellent.
Great food. Fast service, polite staff, clean place to sit down and eat. excellent hotdogs (all the way) ? ?? and chilly fries are the best here.
