I’ve ordered from here numerous times using door dash and sadly it always brings me to fairlawn IHOP even tho they ALWAYS mess it up. The don’t know how to read over there because who orders a bunch of food and not a single drink? I ordered a drink carrier with 4 drinks… received zero everytime. the ihop in Teaneck or Hasbrouck Heights can deliver drinks and food no problem but Fairlawn IHOP sucks at prepping food and receiving any kind of drink.

I was in the restaurant business for 15+ years, and general manager of a busy place. I couldn’t be any more impressed than I was with this visit. I know staffing issues have been a thing and noticed 2 servers, a busser, a host, a ToGo person and 2 managers working. The place got busy and I haven’t seen this kind of teamwork and professionalism in a long time. Nearly perfect service from our server Michael and the other server Kiki. Kiki even stopped by our table and asked if we were good and if she could get us anything. It really was like watching a well choreographed routine. Shoutout to to everyone working today at the Fair Lawn ihop!

Went for breakfast on Mother's Day before 10am . Waited 20 Minutes for a table which was quick considering it was mothers day. The service was fine, waitress friendly and checked on us a few times while we ate to see if we needed anything. The issue was the food. The Chicken Poblano Omelette was missing all the ingredients except the chicken, there was no onions, no bell peppers and no poblano. There was a sprinkling of shredded cheese on top but none of the vegetables or cheese that were supposed to be inside the omelette, literally just chunks of chicken in the egg. The Colorado omelette ordered by another person at our table was completely missing the shredded beef that was supposed to be in it. We did not complain or send it back for a few reasons, 1. Fear of food being tampered with or something done to it if sent back, 2. It was busy so would probably take a long time, 3.we had kids with us and kids would get impatient waiting. For the prices you are paying for an omelette you expect the ingredients to be present. This is the first time we have been there since before they burned down and definitely not the same. Will give it one more try but if the food is bad again then we will not return. We'll see...

Wanted to try this place but when I walked in it was chaos. There were tables open, but the Assistant Manager refused to let the employees seat anyone. And her attitude towards them was a turn off. Long wait. Not worth it.

We literally just left this place. We waited for about 15 minutes for a waiter to come and take our order. We saw one of the waiters, a blonde lady talking to some guy for awhile. After seeing no one was coming, we just decided to leave. The blonde waitress was by the front door & didn’t even bother to assist us. Plus!! As we were driving away, we saw the blonde lady STILL talking to the guy!! Very unprofessional.

This Ihop took 45 minutes to serve 4 plates of the typical breakfast, omelets, crepe, pancakes... nothing special. It is a small Ihop that you can experience smokey, oily fire smelly until you walk out. Seriously they definitely need to check on the air ventilation fan to flow out the smoke and the oily smell that is from the kitchen to the hall. Our waitress was kind but too busy in the kitchen area who showed up twice to take the order and to serve food. To call for Refilling the coffee took forever, they do not even leave the coffee pot to serve ourselves whenever needed like other Ihops. I saw the other table who came after us leaving 20 minutes earlier after finishing with their meals and unil then our food was not even served yet. Their kitchen is slow. I MEAN REALLY SLOW. We could not call any servers to ask for the check either so we went up to the counter to pay and leave but there was no one staying at the counter either. They would not even notice if customers just walk out. Waited for another 5 minutes to get the check to pay. And finally our waitress showed up. I glenced at their kitchen and the area where cooks put on foods put on before get to serve to the tables while waiting and everybody was in that area waiting for the food including the hostess running around with a bucket of creamers. Helping other is always good but this restaurant seemed missing with their own duties. Of course! The food was dried, over cooked, not surprisingly expected. They definitely need a manager who I did not recognized as at nowhere.

Food was alright, a tad cold. I waited 20 minutes for a utensil and practically ate with my fingers. Waitress was hilariously unprofessional but she meant no harm. I would go again with my own fork in hand ??

If you are interested in pick up service, the IHOP in Fair Lawn NJ, is definitely not the place you want to go. This eatery is NOT geared towards this kind of service. The waiting time is extremely long and eventually I received the wrong order. When I finally received my order it was missing all the fixing and condiments. I will never go there again, not even for a dine-in event.

A awesome experience. The staff and service is fantastic. Happy Birthday Nakida I hope I spelled it right .

HORRIBLE SERVICE. I order from this location often and every time they manage to mess something up. They always burn the hash browns which taste old, and the food got here cold even though it said they were still preparing it . Even going in person, don’t expect anything good to eat because trust me no one there knows what they are doing.
