Service was awful. Went there for breakfast and had the most horrible experience since the moment I sat down. It seemed like the waitress didn’t want to be there and was bother to be asked about the menu. I ordered coffee which was cold, I let the waiter know and his answer was that coffee was old and he will put it in microwave to make it hot!!! Like are you kidding me? I kept looking for my waitress to ask for some utensils but she was on the side talking to the other waiter, when I waved at her she made a face like she was annoyed for being bothered, she then continued to say something to her coworker and laugh. I talked to the manager and told her what was going on, she proceeded to apologize for them but nothing really changed, seemed like the waiters didn’t have any respect for her. I will never come back and will make sure my friends and family never do either. I work in the restaurant business and that type of service will never be allowed with my customers.I went to have a good time and enjoy a Peruvian restaurant but had an awful experience. The food at this place was cold and not fresh, to top it off service was horrible. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL!!!
Not what it used to be.1. Aji was reformulated. Incredibly runny and watery.2. The papa rellena was just awful. It was stuffed with a huge olive and chunks of meat which looked to be honestly left over lomo saltado. Traditionally it is prepared with ground beef.3. Salsa Criolla was just lazy. No cilantro no lime just red onion drenched in salt and pepper. They threw in a piece of lime on the side.4. Bistek encebollado had huge tomato pieces. Lazy again cut in quarters it looked like.Definitely went down hill. Not going back.
This has To be the most inconsistent restaurant in all of New Jersey. Either their prices change their menus change and if you order the same dish it’s not gonna taste the same. If you’re going to change everything every time i call, why wouldn't you update your menu on YOUR OWN WEBSITE??? I will never ever spend a dime in this place ever again. Especially when theres soooooo many Peruvian restaurants in the area. Hey if you wanna take a chance on your order being correct, order here. Good luck
I ordered from here on Ubereats and they forgot my drink. Which was really disappointing since I had to wait an hour for my food. If they hadn’t forgotten my drink, I probably would give them five stars. The two stars is for the food cause it was actually very delicious.
I took my husband there to try Peruvian food for the first time. He absolutely love it. The service we were offered as soon as we walked in the door was wonderful. The server made us a special drink. If you want good food with excellent service this is the place to come.
85% of the time this place is great. I really don’t get it why Peruvian joints think they can pawn off an old reheated chicken and refried french fries. Today was the second time they did this to us. It’s time to start ordering from another place for the time being.
Good food, however if you order take-out, check to make sure you're getting the right thing. Twice I've been given different foods than what I had ordered. Total chaos behind the counter.
Update: downgrading to 1 star.Tl;dr: avoid this place.On 12/13/2021, ordered whole chicken with sides. The chicken was cold in the center and just barely warm outside, the taste and texture was horrible. This clearly was a chicken from day(s) ago, just reheated. I called them to let them know, and they just said "that's weird". ?Besides this, while waiting for my order, just watched one of the people handling the food orders, no mask, coughed in their open hand, and immediately continuing preparing the orders as if nothing happened. Not even doing the effort of cleaning their hands. Later, continued touching her mouth, and touching the food containers. There were 2 other customers there too. On the bright side, the other worker was wearing a mask.
Excellent service! Very friendly and respectful staff. Food was great!
I used to order take out all the time they gave us un cooked fries and corn was spoiled
