Really happy with my delivery experience. I am new to Elizabeth and I’m slowly familiarizing myself with the neighborhood. I was looking for a good take-out option for Mexican food and this came up in search for best Mexican food around me. I have to agree the food was really delicious. I had the steak tacos and I ordered the steak burrito for my boyfriend. We loved everything. I also ordered guacamole with chips and they were good too (could have use a tad more salt for my preference, but the consistency and ingredients were flavorful). I also thought the man on the phone that answered was friendly. I had it delivered and it arrived really quickly (maybe 30 mins). The driver was very sweet too and handled my food with care. We will definitely order again. I will try to dine in at some point too!
This restaurant has been a go to place to order a quick and delicious meal but unfortunately while my dad was taking his first bite of his quesadilla he mentioned that his cheese tasted weird. This cheese tasted sour and I believe it had mold. Very unfortunate that this place would serve their clients food that has been expired.
What a great place on the other side of Elizabeth, NJ on the border of Roselle Park. I used Google and looked for a place near Kean University. I recommend parking on the side street for easy access when leaving and/or parking.I figured I'd keep it simple and order my usual "safe bets:" horchata and tacos (specifically Taquiza el Portal, which are 10 assorted tacos with awesome sides). Keep in mind the food was just for me.They use corn tortillas, which always wins me over and they keep it simple: onions and cilantro (see pics). All of the meats were flavorful, not too salty and not dry. I took home about 3 pounds of leftovers, which tasted great the next day.The mango cake was different. Part hybrid cake and mango custard top.Definitely recommend for a date night, casual eats, or just being in the mood for great Mexican cuisine. I'll be back for sure!
We really liked this place! Wish I had tried it sooner. The food was super yummy. Really tasted like authentic Mexican food.I tried the salsa Verde chicken enchiladas and my hubby had one of the tortas. Soo good!Plan to go back soon and try other dishes!
I walked in to this restaurant and i waited and waited and waited nobody came to me to offer the menu, Teo girls ware on the cell phone and never worried about going to ask me how can they help, it was my first time that I came to this place! So sad to have this experience at this place all Mexican restaurant are known for the best service, oh well u guess this was the first with such a bad atención

Horrible!!! My burrito was salty, with yellow rice and the chicken was not grill. Chips so hard to chew . Disappointed! Do not recommend

One of our favorite places to go eat and for take out. Absolutely love their guacamole with nachos and their chicken burritos. Their enchiladas are great too! Love the flavor!
The food was amazing. Those tacos were so flavorful and really good portions as well. The drink was also just right. Definitely coming back here again
