Really enjoyed my dinner tonight! Ordered a Mango Margarita and it was really good! For appetizer we got the shrimp and octopus ceviche it’s was really delish!! For many corse we had the enchiladas Rojas de carne it had rice beans cheese and surprisingly sweet, also tacos half Al pastor and half chorizo yummy! For dessert the flan was the best flan I have had in a very long time! They have coffee with steamed milk. I really recommend this place! Awesome service!
I love their Chilaquiles & chicken tacos! Excellent family restaurant. This is our second time here and we will definitely be coming back again soon.
Perfect gem to find. Had the steak and pork chops in garlic sauce which tasted amazing. Mango Margarita and Lemon Margarita have the perfect mix and not sweet. Definitely going back to try other items. Has cute decor with engraved and painted chairs. Staff are very friendly and quick in serving.
Despite an awkward ordering process, LA Cabana is a great choice for flavor. I enjoyed the Chiles Rellenos dish that comes with two stiffed peppers plus a side of rice and refried beans. The steak was cooked and well seasoned.Attached to the review are photos of their current menu. This way, you won't have any confusion during ordering especially if you are enjoying LA Cabana for the first time. Happy eats!
This is a fantastic little spot with great food and big portions. Two strong margaritas and two entrees for $45 is very hard to beat in northern NJ. Will def be coming back.
My steak tacos were extremely dry. I was given a lime that was already used and squeezed out which was concerning with covid being a thing. My quesadillas were very bland and had no flavor they literally threw chicken & cheese into little tortilla. Very disappointed and will not be returning.
I ordered a quesadilla with chorizo and it look like a toddler made it. Cold tortilla that looks like they bought in supermarket. No lettuce or cream. Very dull and basic homemade quesadilla they offered.

The food here is incredible. Really flavorful, with real heat. This is legit Mexican food. So incredibly good. Cold beers, hot hot food (even the table salsa is spicy). Really enjoyed it. Staff was terrific.
We have been coming to this place for 20 years now and it has NEVER disappointed, not once.The food is great, awesome service and the owner is very nice. Thank you for all these years of awesome Mexican flavor! ?
