I stopped in at John's Caffe for a quick slice after a doctor's appointment around the corner. The office had recommended it This is a small hole in the wall pizzeria run by a fire fighter and I could tell that it was popular with the firemen and police in the area as they were most of the customers (the precinct must be close by) and they all came in for lunch. The pizza was warmed up but still very good and the sauce has so much flavor to it. I really enjoyed it. They are a bit more expensive then your average pizzeria but costs are going up. It is worth it to try for lunch or dinner. The ladies working the counter were really nice.

Sadly everything was salty. I got the sicilian with anchovies, prosciutto and mushrooms, the anchovies were extremely salty -even after picking them out (some parts were still edible and i thought the pizza would'vebeen great if it wasnt so salty)... also got four seasons which was a little less salty than the sicilian, same with garlic knot parm. It was interesting trying, but I'll make it myself next time, since this experience was quite expensive to end up not liking it ?Edit: delivery takes up to an hr -so dont get impatient, and everything was still hot
Ordered from this place for the first time today, after reading all the good reviews I decided to order a plane cheese pie, buffalo wings and penne ala vodka. My pizza came burned it was very hard and cold by the time it got delivered. I ordered buffalo wings and they gave me plane wings. With the buffalo sauce on the side. I kindly asked for extra buffalo on the side, I never said don’t put buffalo in my wings. There chicken wings smelled very funky, like live chickens. It was very unsatisfying. Maybe today was a bad day, not sure.
John’s Caffe is amazing! Their food NEVER disappoints! They have a variety of foods and I have lunch here at least once a week and my kids love there food so we order dinner as well! I promise you will love it!!!!!
John’s Caffe always delivers the most delicious food. My delivery today was piping hot which is an achievement in December! Everyone is so friendly from the people taking orders to the guys making deliveries. Whether you feel like pizza, sandwiches, or a complete meal, John’s has something you will love.
Tried this place for first time. Great turkey club and made just how I asked for it - thank you!!! I was so happy with my lunch that I told many ppl in my office to try them out.
Just ate here for the first time and I was 100% impressed. Those were the best Pizza Fries I've had in many years and that Grilled Chicken Breast was amazingly moist and flavorful. On top of the great food, the entire staff was pleasant and had awesome attitudes, not just towards us customers, but also towards each other. I will definitely go here again when I'm back in the area.
This is my favorite pizza in Elizabeth, NJ. The crust is crispy and delicious. But pizza isn't the only thing they make great. Their Burgers are AMAZING!! They are big, juicy, and soooo good. My daughter loves their salads and Buffalo chicken.
