The food is amazing!!! The staff is friendly and place is clean. Our family try to go there whenever we're in the area.
When they bring your check tip is already taken out, 15% i believe, when you sign it ask you if you want to leave extra tip. I know 20% is fear just heads up
Let me start by saying that the service is horrible. The food OMG I order Bandeja Salvadoreña and 2 pupusas de queso. The bandeja was really dry the Maduros were not cooked they were raw. The rice and beans were nasty and it taste like it had been there for days. The curtido for the pupusa was horrible it tasted really bad like it had been in the plastic bag for months. I love Salvadorian food but this one was the worst I ever had in my life. I'm a Flight Attendant and go to a Salvadoran restaurant in every state. Unfortunately, this restaurant is not good. The first and last time I go here, NJ has been the worst.
This restaurant use to be one of my favorites. Now it’s definitely not. The waitress we had was unfriendly, took a long time to take our order. We waited over an hour to even receive our food..to only receive the wrong order…food doesn’t taste the same. Highly disappointed.
I a loyal and frequent customers. Always going there for holidays and special events. My last experience was atrocious. While I understand that on holidays restaurants get hectic with high traffic the level of service should still exceed expectations as I would like to get my moneys worth. I went to the restaurant with my family and 4 children. We placed the order and all was fine. The food did. It come all togther. Some people ate before others. He forgot our Sangria. Upon getting the sangria he forgets the glasses that come with it. We the gent empty glasses no ice or straws. We were ok we can live with that. What we won’t tolerate is that they did not bring out an order. An order for children. My nephews left without eating. The manager or so she called herself said they were too busy. I said it is not acceptable for a child to go over 46 minutes without eating. The real manager was unavailable. They have no empathy for customers of children. While I know they won’t care I won’t be going back. All they care is about filling up the place and providing the worst service. On top of that gratuity is included and they can’t bypass. I hope they can sleep well knowing that two children stood almost a whole hour without eating.
The service was horrible. They took our order for drinks and food and after the waitress never returned. The brought plates of food out one at a time, 10-15 minutes apart. Our kids were served last and no one came back after, we were missing side dishes. We would never go back. Service and food wasn't good at all.
Great food! The lobster soup was delightful! Pupusas are excellent to! Will return soon and sample more food
