I’ve spent the last couple years telling people they have the best of everything. La avena casera, las empanadas, los desayunos. But I went recently and so much has changed. Maybe they are cutting costs but avena shouldn’t taste like spicy bubblegum. Honestly it was probably going bad. Please stop cutting corners and use the old ingredients again.

My post would probably don’t make any change in any way but I want to do it any way. Brisas used to have the best food years ago until casa del pan appeared, even though a new good food appeared I kept going to brisas but they have changed everything; food is not good at all, yesterday I bought some stuff from the bakery, the arepa was rotten, the meat form empanadas rotten as well coffee was so bad prepared. I’m so disappointed from this food. There is not less than a star to rate it. Sorry but not good food any more.

LA MEJOR ADMINISTRACION,POR LO TANTO HAY CERVICIO EXCELENTE?LA COMIDA CON UN SABOR COLOMBIANO,BRISAS NO NESECITO RECOMENDACIONES LOS HECHOS HABLAN, SABOR, CERVICIO,Y UNA GASTRONOMIA COLOMBIANA AUTENTICA QUE TENGAN UN ÉXITO SIN PRECEDENTES.SALUDOS A TODOS.

Definitely not what it used to be. My chicken tasted off and wasn’t even seasoned. The rice was hard, and the attitude of that lady taking your order over the phone should’ve been enough to leave a bad taste in my mouth before the chicken did.

Always good. The place is just like walking into the local bakery in your old little town. Love it

Their carne empanadas are the most delicious ones I’ve had by far. I haven’t tried the other dishes they have but I’m pretty sure they’re good.

Had the Sancocho special and Limonada de coco. Reminded me of Colombia so much. Will definitely come back when I'm around the area.

Las Brisas is the best Colombian restaurant in north Jersey, Don Albeiro is the owner and him and his wife are going to say hello personally, the service is outstanding( maso ) is our favorite server the food is always GREAT! I usually get the Casuela Albeiro which is rice, beans, chicharrón, arepa, skirt steak avocado, sweet plantain and a egg, I know it sounds like allot of food, but it’s just the right portion and I also love the skirt steak with the shrimp it comes with two sides I always get coconut rice ( the best I’ve ever had) and papa criolla ( baby potatoes) they are always so creative. I’ve been coming here for 10 years and they never fail to make me feel like I’m home!! PS they are famous for the empanadas so don’t forget to try them with hot sauce and lemon.

Food was great. Had a Valentine brunch date with great food options.

We do some business with the owner when he needs steel (Newark Steel) and have had him and his guys bring us food several times - always amazing.Everyone in the warehouse attacks the boxes until there is nothing left. Empanadas & pan de bono are some of the best around.Owner is a standup guy, nothing better than supporting a local business run by great people.
