Had the most amazing & scrumptious fish lunch today. We shared bacala croquettes, had the fish platter (shrimps, scallops & flounder) w/boiled potatoes & salad, flounder Francese w/rice & broccoli rapi & cod sandwich w fries. The portions were huge, fresh & delicious. Red Sangria was excellent They have a large variety of fresh fish, which I purchased to freeze. The service was excellent, friendly & courteous. The entire staff goes out of their way to accommodate. Great place we will definitely revisit often. Thank you to all at Boss Fish & God Bless you always.

Love it ! Recommend highly

Great food . Very polite and nice staffs

I had the pleasure of trying out Bossa Fish yesterday located in Elizabeth, NJ.This is a gem of a place. Their decor and the way they transformed the place is beautiful and it creates an amazing modern looking atmosphere to dine in.All the food is served in to go containers and you can enjoy your food inside or in their outdoor dining space surrounded by palm trees and the sounds of planes taking off at Newark Airport. The food was some of the best food I’ve eaten in a long time. We had the cod croquettes which is a family recipe and dipped in their amazing Bossa sauce. (You’ll want to buy a bottle of it before you leave). We also had the garlic shrimp which was PHENOMENAL and Buffalo shrimp. We also had one of their many platters. We picked the grilled octopus platter which is only available on Fridays. It was served with so much broccoli rabe and a smashed potatoes. The octopus was so incredibly fresh and the olive oil brought out the flavors beautifully. We had to take a crab cake sandwich home to try, too!I know I’ll be going back soon because this place is an absolute gem!

Found this place on Yelp decided to come here for a late lunch and don't regret it one bit! Service was professional and attentive, food was super fresh and flavorful. Had the fried red snapper, clam chowder, octopus salad and Charlie Baltimore. To top it off they had sangria and happy hour specials. Not to mention really cute decor with outdoor seating. Will definitely be coming back!

I just finished eating at this spot and the food is amazing!! I’m from Bayonne and I won’t mind driving back to Elizabeth in the very near future.Bossa Fish - thank you for the great food!!!

Super recomendo Bossa Fish , a comida é deliciosa, rápida e fresca, funcionários simpáticos, local limpo, sem dúvidas vale a pena experimentar ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Edit to former review! First experience was amazing with great food. Second experience wasn’t as great. Servers have an attitude and not the same consistency in food quality. Was a great place to stop for Friday lent or when you want seafood! The fried salmon in garlic sauce is everything!!!!! Hubby doesn’t like salmon and was eating my left overs the next day but not the case on our return visit. Food tasted fresh. Owner and his dad were very attentive and checked on us more than the servers on our first visit but on our second had to flag down for service although only two other people were dining. Restaurant seems like more of a take out order place. If you dine in food is served in take out platers and not in plates. Definitely order everything in the garlic sauce because was amazing on our first try! Nice spot to eat outdoors. Stools in side slight uncomfortable and not for accessibility needed cliente.

This is a true gem in Elizabeth! If you enjoy seafood please visit immediately, you will not regret it! The portions are huge and the daily specials are always so tasty. I had the red snapper and branzino the last time which were cooked perfectly. I am excited to try the rest of the menu ?

Incredibly fresh seafood and a large menu selection! One of the owners, Phil, helped us decide, and he was a pure delight! The New England Clam Chowder is excellent, but know it is not meant to be the thick style chowder you may be used to. We also loved the shrimp croquettes (labor intensive for them to make), salt cod croquettes, clams in white wine, and the Flounder Francese. The portion was HUGE! The picture I took shows half of the pan (I left out the side I ate from, which is why there's only half of my portion showing.) The sides I chose are Spanish potatoes (it's like a potato chip that is very light) and broccoli rabe. Be sure to try the boiled potatoes! Best we've ever had--cooked just right with just a touch of seasoning in the water! The flounder was so fresh, it just melted in my mouth! We also enjoyed the staff. We told them we felt like we were home and with family. We returned the next day! Thank you, Phil, Monica, and Joe, and to your amazing staff! This made our hotel stay a much better experience!
