It was fine. Wasn't too crowded. Wait person only came around after we finished eating. Would have been nice if she would've have passed around our area once or twice. I would have liked a refill of my drink, while I was eating. Food was ok.
We ordered some food and man, it wasn't good. My steak looked smaller than a 6oz. My husband's food was looking crazy. Only half of a chicken breast was cut up put into his plate. Also employee looked really lost when bringing back the check. Messed up 6 times and charged my card on someone else's bill. Ugh. Stay away from this place. Applebee's you really need to get your staff retrained or something. Will not return at all.
We had the best waitress. Her name is Serenity! She was a joy to talk to. Food of course was great cuz it's Applebee's
The Staff were friendly, but the drinks were inconsistent (Martini was too strong & the L.I.I.T. was too weak & over iced).The food tastes like corporate is trying to appeal to a wider audience, but then they've sacrificed flavor & it shows.Disappointed. I used to look forward to Applebee's.- Only interested in places that have seasoning in their food (not just a splash of salt & pepper with paprika for color) ?
Right from the start of our dining experience, we were seated at a table that located where the wait staff station is located and we you enter the kitchen. It was very dirty. The carpet was old , stained and smelly. The highlight of the dining experience was watching the cooking staff fight! One of the staff members literally came out of the kitchen and stood in front of our table and made threats to leave. What seem to be the manager, he also came out of the kitchen and started talking to him in front of our table. On a good note, our server was nice!
Only two star because the bartender started clean up in a front of us with 30 min before closing hour. Not nice. Otherwise the food was ok for Applebee's restaurant.

Food was good but restaurant was way too cold. Not sure if the heat was working but if not, they should not have sat anyone in that area. I dont find it worth eating in a restaurant with my jacket on. We should have left but we were hungary and it was late. Not sure i would go back there again especially in the winter. Weren't even offered a discount or free dessert even though the manager came over. I probably would have taken it to go so I could get back into my warm car.
Nostalgic visit for me. I have visited many Applebee's all around the area. This visit was the 1st time with my alma mater highlighted, Elizabeth High School.
