The food was delicious, the chicken had so much flavor, even my very picky 7 year old approved.It was me, and my two daughters, we sat outside and i asked for 3 plates and forks, I was told i could only get two of each and pay $.10 for the extra one. It is what it is but i think i was entitled to 3 if it was 3 of us.
First time but not my last. Had the beef and pork rib combo. Perfectly seasoned beef ribs, cooked perfectly. Next time I’ll have the chicken. Place was packed for takeout!
Rice is good but the meat is hard like a brick and dry 1st and last time buying from this Restaurant?
Make sure to get the Papas Freitas, they are made inhouse and as delicious as Ahri tail.
I placed an order for delivery at 4 o clock today and the girl on the phone told me it was going to take 1 hour. It instead took more then two hours. Every time I called after the 1 mark , the girl told me the driver was 5 mins away for one whole hour ?♀️. Then I finally get my food which is now cold and open it to find out it’s a completely different order then what I ordered and what is on the receipt that is attached to the food tray. I ordered beef ribs but there was chicken instead. So then I called the restaurant and the girl told me I had to take the food back to the restaurant to get my money back or the correct order!!! Like what?! You guys messed up my order and now I have to physically go to the restaurant when I originally placed the order for delivery so I didn’t have to go to the store?? The worst part is I waited 15 minutes to speak to the manager and I heard them in the back saying “hang up” and that’s what they did. They hung up on me and everytime I called back they didn’t pick up and when they did they immediately hung up. So basically I’m stuck with food that I never ordered and they kept my money because I payed more for beef. I have never experienced such unprofessionalism at a restaurant. Shame on everyone there. Will never be ordering again and I suggest no one else does. There are a lot more Portuguese restaurants in the area that are better and appreciates their customers.

Great tasting BBQ.. portions are huge… you will never go away hungry. My go to when I’m in town.
Horrible service. Messed up my order and dint even bother to try and fixing the problem that they made. I recommend ordering food from the other algarve up the street. By the way you did not offer to take the food since you said because of COVID witch is understandable. All you had to do was send the ribs that you guys did not include on the order we place. Ya rather loose a customer then trying to fix the problem. Horrible customer service.
Placed an order for a combo which comes with chicken, ribs, fries, and rice. Got a combo with a whole chicken and no ribs. Called back to let them know, and they said to send back the chicken to replace with ribs. 1. That’s gross since we already put our hands on the food looking for the ribs. 2. Because it was their mistake it should’ve just been a simple “ ok we will send over the ribs.” But of course they refused unless they charged us for the ribs we had already paid for as part of the combo. This will be the first and last time ordering from this place. Terrible customer service and chicken was dry as hell! We normally order from Algarve on van buren but they are closed on Mondays so decided to try this place out. NEVER AGAIN!
Great Portuguese BBQ, friendly service. Definitely order ahead. Pork is spectacular, chicken is full of flavor but a little dry. The beef has great flavor, but a little over done, can be hard to chew. Stick with the fish and pork sandwiches if your first time. Only minimal outside seating, very limited parking, really a take out place.
