This was Our first time here and we will definitely be coming back! Kevin was the most amazing server, so friendly and He was super attentive. Even though he was super busy he never left us waiting for a long time and he made sure we were always good. Kept the drinks coming too which we loved. His recommendations were amazing! Definitely the best service we have had at a restaurant in a while! Will be recommending this spot to all my friends and family, DEFINITELY ASKING FOR KEVIN! ??????
two entirely different vibes, both equally enjoyable, in the main dining room compared to the outdoor area - the place they call The One Rooftop. If I had to choose I’d choose the rooftop for “adulting” and if you want to just hang and watch games but if you’re not into music or need a place for a family meal then the main dining room is better.
Opened recently ,been to The One roof top over here, the 2 stars is only for the ambience,the service was horrible, it took nearly 30 minutes for the waiter to come and take our order, one of our order came after 45minutes,while the table after us got there food way before us,the second dish didn’t come even after an hour, had to call the manager to cancel it, and they didn’t even give us any silverware to eat,had to call someone to get us some. The flat bread was cold when it was served too. Lol owners reply too looks like a copy and paste.
Pleasantly surprised by this place! We went in thinking it would be a normal bar/restaurant. Which it was but the food was really good! They offer everything, from sushi, to pizza to burgers. And the sushi is good! Pizza is delish and crispy and the drinks are decent. Service was good as well. Will def be back to try everything else on this menu that we couldn’t. Huge menu! Great place! Can’t wait for the rooftop to open
The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. There was a wait and they text us when our table was ready and it took exactly the amount of time they told us. The food came out fast, which was the best part because we were starving!
Food and drinks were excellent and the vibe was great. Playoff basketball and the Yankees game were on the many TV's which was perfect. Keith our server was great very attentive and the service was quick. Can't wait to check out the rooftop dining when it's open.
First time at Tommy's today and was definitely impressed. All around great experience. Happy to have had Kevin help navigate us through the menu and take such good care of us. Our meatball starter was good eating, the focaccia really helped to hit it out of the ballpark. I also had the Triple T's Cheeseburger. So good I had to order one to bring home to hubby. All around great experience, great atmosphere, great food. Big shout out to Kevin for taking such good care of us during our visit. Will be making a return trip in the very near future with hubby. He also devoured the burger I brought home for him
Amazing food, excellent service, lively ambiance- all worth the 90 min wait on a Fri evening! Tried several menu items. The Old Fashioned Ginger cocktail was mixed so well. Munched away some truffle fries at the bar while we waited for a table. Ordered several vegetarian items - Hummus Trio Dip, Tomato Basil Soup, Classic Ceasars Salad, Sliced Beet Salad, Gaston's Burrata Primavera white pizza, Romano's Strombolis, and Happy Vegetarian Poke. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors, textures, colors, and variety! I'd skip the Sweet Potato Tots. Friends tried the wings and Buffalo Chicken Salad and were impressed too. The staff was friendly and attentive, and really quick with our order. Would go again!
Tommy's Tavern just opened a new location in Edison, NJ. The food was great as it is with other Tommy's Taverns. The atmosphere was also great. Great customer service, the staff are friendly, and my drinks were refilled when my cup was only halfway empty. We were always getting checked on to see how things were going, even the manager stopped by. I pay attention to things like that. I would definitely recommend them if you're looking for a great atmosphere with great food. I hear soon you'll be able to go on the rooftip and eat. That would be a great addition to an already great restaurant.
Parking is very limited even though the property is large as they have another restaurant next to them. Attempted to come here on a Saturday. Sunday off hours around 2:30pm, and on a Monday 6:30 pm. You will need to drive around for parking. I ended up parking far just to finally try this place.They had 1/2 off cocktails during the time I was there - Monday ~6:30pm. Lots of drink selections. I ordered a Moscow mule and ended up being served a mojito.The waiter Elijiah raved about their sushi. poke bowl, etc so I ordered the salmon poke bowl with mango. This was the worst tasting poke bowl I have ever had. Mango was slightly sour and TOO much and very juicy so all you tasted with any bite was the mango. The salmon cubes did not look fresh and were few. Overall slimey!The meatball appetizer was very good. Comes w/ 4 meatballs. This is worth getting again. Add $3 for foccacia bread.My aunt's steak salad was just ok. It was more salad and only a small sliced up steak. Steak was cool in temp. And don't put fries on top of a salad! who does that???Elijiah was inattentive and never came back with the water I asked for even though he passed by a couple of times. He likes to gab with customers 1st and forgets or chooses to forget "free" items like water or a to go box or plastic bag.Overall pricey for the food quality that you get.
