Well Obama came here!If I’m around the area I’ll come here for lunch or I usually go to the Franklin Park location just because I live there. The sandwiches are always fantastic and here it’s super fast as well the employees are nice it’s pretty busy in here or it can be during lunchtime but it’s always moving

I would have gave Tastee a five star but they need to remodel or update that place. It did not look clean. As excellent as their subs are they should be able to afford an facelift. I guess they have so many customers it does not matter to them. Please remodel.

Stop confirming orders on DoorDash at 10:20 only to cancel it at 11 PM. This is like the third time you’ve done this. It’s really ridiculous!! Just cause you’re a legacy and you’ve been around a long time doesn’t mean you can take advantage. Haven’t been consistently lately either. Be a little grateful for the base you have a people who value your subs. My family moved to Edison in 1991 when Tops was across the way. Show some respect.

Good and tasty indeed. Flavor of meats not really strong but overall is a good bite for the value. Long line at lunchtime but moves fairly quickly. Cash discount. Parking lot available and usually will find a space. I like to cut into four pieces and share.

Great local sub shop. The bread is soft, the lettuce and tomatoes are fresh and the cold cuts are delicious. I usually order a number 4 with everything. The only bad thing I can say is sometimes they're too busy to take a phone order, but heading there in person is just as quick.

Since Obama visited the shop 2010 it was become a historical landmark. I’m addition to that it probably has some of the best sandwiches in the area. They do cater/do big orders in advance also. And it’s pretty fresh- they slice the cheese and meat per order. You can’t ask for more than that.

Drove out here from Mountain Lakes and was not disappointed. Bread a little chewy, but my Tastee Super Sub did not disappoint. Worth the drive. Sun out oil and vinegar for Mayo to avoid the sog

One of the best subs hands down! Prices have increased, but portions have remained about the same, no double whammy here. The bread makes the sandwich I always heard, it's true here as well. Enjoy!

Sadly didn’t live up to the hype. Thanks, Obama.I came here because a friend recommended it. Even Obama visited this sub shop.I got the #1 and #3 on wheat bread - I think they ran out of white bread at the time. It’s a decent sub, but nothing out of this world. It definitely a huge sandwich and you get your bang for your buck. Taste-wise, it’s really whatever.Probably not worth docking points, but I found a strand of hair in my sandwich. Honest mistake that could happen at any restaurant.Overall, I still think Jimmy John’s serves better subs.

Nice thick subs today. Doesn't happen every time but I lucked out today. Prices went up but if the sandwich stays like today it's worth the price. Oh line was long but fast service. Enjoy!
