Food was absolutely horrible. They used packaged frozen seafood for noodle soup which is disgraceful for the price they are charging. Clams were not fresh with very bad color and smelled awful. Seafood scallion pancake has not even enough of those terrible packaged frozen seafood nor the scallion. Flour batter was way too thick. Also it was extra greasy. Plate had the puddle of oil underneath the pancake.
This is our 3rd time and may be the last time having dinner here. Food quality is getting worse. Basically H-mart food court has all the food here, but cheaper and better. So why bother to dine in here and pay tips? And the service is bad. We came here at 8:20pm because there were too many people at Tasty Moment and it will be closed at 9:30pm. Here close at 10pm and don’t need to wait. But the waitress rushed us to place order and asked us to pay even before 9:30pm. And no waiters/waitresses smile while we were there. They just looks really want to get done and go home.
It's okay. The presentation is nice and there's a decent amount of variety. They aren't cheap on the tofu which is also nice.I think it's a bit pricey though so it's hard to justify coming here opposed to any of the other alternatives in the plaza that are priced equally.Tables have dividers between them which is also a nice touch. Typically little to no wait to be seated
Absolutely no service. Waitress was talking to other ppl while we were ordering and got interrupted rudely. Only excuse is her language barrier. Then she was never, be seen again. Disappeared. No refill on water ever .Last item came out when we were done and was told it takes long time to cook like I have never ordered it before.Food is decent and about 10% too pricey. Considering the deco and service.Comparing to the experience that I had when they were just opened, I give 2 starsI will just stick with Kimchihana
So overpriced for bad food. The customer service was nonexistent. We weren’t even greeted, actually no words came out of the man’s mouth, he just pointed at a table for us to sit at. The waitress didn’t greet us nor did she ask if we wanted drinks - we had to ask her ourselves *after* we already put in the order. This place has the audacity to charge $14 for a scallion pancake and make food that tasted equivalent to a dish someone attempted to make for the first time. Not coming back!
This is my current go to place for (Soon Du Bu)/(Soon Doo Boo)/(Soft Tofu stew/soup)/(Tofu Soup)Love getting it at very spicy and asking for for more spice.I really love the very basic touch of giving the customer slightly hot water in a nice metal cup as soon as we sit at the table. Its a small thing, but automatically sets the experience as very good from the start.
This la galbi was $32.99- it is mostly bone. Every time I order from here through UberEATS, I get different sized portions. The Large seafood pancake is the same size as small seafood pancakes I have gotten in the past. This is frustrating because their food is actually good.
Bill came out to be $76 after discount since we paid in cash. The guy who sat us down and took our order did not check on us and only came to pick up the check. They didn’t refill our side dishes or check on us until the end when they walked by and put the check on the table (and we had a different person give out the side dishes and another giving us our main dishes). Since we got little to no service, we just gave them a $6 tip. While the four of us were walking out the door, the guy caught two of us who haven’t gotten out the restaurant yet and told them that we didn’t tip enough, and told them to give him more money. They gave them $5 more in the end but it’s so weird to demand more of a tip when it isn’t mandatory to being with. Overall, the food was average (except the steamed dumplings, they were pretty good).
This is the restaurant where I discovered my love for Korean tofu soup. The prices are fine, the food is fine. Similar tofu places offer stone pot rice as an option and that is lacking at this location.
Good korean reataurant.
