Lunch buffet is a good option however this visit food was much more spicy then usual.
We have been to Moghul after a span of about three years. I was disappointed that the food was bland and lacking in flavor. Not what I expected considering the cost of the buffet. Definitely could be improved.
This restaurant has really gone downhill. We have been here many times in the last 10-15 years and it used to be quite good. Yesterday's trip was rather disappointing. The ambience and the staff were as we remembered. They added a large outdoor eating area - good. However, the buffet choices were about half of what we remembered, and the price had jumped to $25 per head. Perhaps this should have been a harbinger of things to come and we should have skipped it. The food quality was poor. Lots of oil, no taste in every dish. The salad items were limp. Do not recommend
We had office get together dinner. This is a hugh dining place with indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of parking. Out door have a live singer all time. Good entertainment and people enjoy it. Food is good but bit costly. The complex has few more restaurants of the same owner, so one can order from them also.
Excellent food, service; good lighting. We brought friends there for the first time; they thoroughly enjoyed it. Will definitely return.
Delicious food, thoughtful wait staff
We had a lot about Moghul, so we wanted to check it out for ourselves. I was disappointed in the food, but maybe thatâs because of the expectations that I had. The Good: The ambience was superb! Great decor and wonderful silverware. The servers were attentive and polite. The chicken appetizer that our server recommended was so succulent and tasty that we felt we should have ordered another plate! The naan in the main course was quite nice too. The Bad: For main course, we ordered the butter chicken with 2 types of naan. While the naan was pretty good, the butter chicken was not anywhere close to what butter chicken should taste like. I generally eat very less salt and I try and avoid very spicy food eat. So for me to think that the butter chicken was completely bland is a huge red flag. Compared to NYC restaurants like Moti Mahal or Awadh or Tamarind (although I think they only have chicken tikka masala), this butter chicken was a total disaster! I firmly believe that if an Indian restaurant cannot serve good butter chicken and naan, the other items on the menu cannot be vouched for. So there you go - while the restaurant ambience and service is great, the food is not up to the mark. Or maybe the chef making that particular dish on that particular day had an odd bad day and thatâs why the dish didnât come out as good as it should have. I have to admit that it didnât put a dampener on our much awaited trip to Moghul.
Went for buffet. Satisfied but food not spicy enough
We love service of Moghul Restaurant...Valentine their attendee gave us personalized attention and made sure we had pleasant experience when we came for dinner with kids here..I gave Valentine 5 stars ? ?
Very poor quality cattle class food n service. We requested for Ala Carte but were bluntly told to go to buffet. The buffet food quality was horrible. Chewy, cold naan, hard paneer- stone quality and the rest of the food well to describe in short as i smentioned in the first line was cattle class. When we complained the waiter tried offering us discount which we refused outright. Never go there and definitely no repeat business from us.
