Went last Sat night with our family. Been going here for years with wonderful results. We often get the triple beef, but this last time we got bulgogi, spicy octopus, seafood pancake, chapchae, rice cake soup, etc.Almost everything was as good as always. Of course, the prices have gone up like everywhere else. The one downer was the spicy octopus. The flavor was fine, but there was hardly any octopus in it, and we never had this much or any slivers of cabbage in this dish. Really was dissapointing.Don't mind higher prices, as that's the world we live in. But in return, our family expects the same standards. Lots of Korean choices in Edison.
First time visiting here,the server was in a hurry to take our order,and then before we even finished dining they handed us the check and asked for payment.
My father and I visited earlier today and had a really good meal! It was our first time trying Korean barbecue and our server was very patient and explained to us what the dishes were. The quality of the meat was incredible too, I ordered some marinated boneless short ribs and they were some of the most tender delicious pieces of meat I've had. We're not local to Edison but when we're back up here I can definitely see us coming back here.
The cuts of meat at this place are great quality. I usually get the triple beef combo. Everyone is friendly and the food is excellent. Easily one of my favorite restaurants across all types of cuisine.
I know my Korean BBQ, and we love this place! Really fresh, choice meats, bahn-chan dishes, and friendly service with a smile. We will go to Edison just for their food, and we have frequented many places in Fort Lee, Pal Park - this is top shelf! Delicious!!!
The service is horrible. They overcooked our pork because they totally forgot about it and left the pork in the pan for 10 minutes. (They cook in a gas stove heated pan on the side, so we have no control on the meat). Even worse, they tried to fool us with those overcooked pork by putting the black side down. Replaced the overcooked pieces after we pointed out that it is not acceptable. But no apologies at all. Save ur money and don’t even try this place.
We went to celebrate today and left without even opening up our bottle. The service was HORRENDOUS. The wait staff was very rude and not helpful at all. We have never been to a korean bbq place that has it so only beef can be cooked on the grills. Imagine our surprise when we ordered beef and were brought an already cooked dish. When we asked our waitress about it, she was very rude and told us all beef EXCEPT this one dish. There were two women that came to our table and every time they passed us they gave us dirty looks. When we asked for rice and oil, they abruptly left without even answering us. When we asked again, they snapped at us and practically threw dishes on our table. When we asked for a second basket of lettuce, we were rudely told that it would be EXTRA! An extra charge for a second basket of lettuce for a party of 6?The food is way overpriced, the wait staff is extremely rude, and they made us feel like we were not even worth a response to a question. If I could give 0 stars, I would. STAY AWAY!!!Though if you do decide to come, make sure to bring your own napkins or they will charge you $$$$$.

Not only are the staff extremely attentive and friendly, but the food is amazing! At first I was bummed out that after 2 years of not going it was under new management (my parents use to take us here once a month like 20 years ago), but they've kept the same quality of food and I couldn't be more satisfied. We had started going to the Picnic Garden instead, but they had a million restrictions since covid so we stopped going and started going back to Keum Ho Garden. I love this place and if I could afford to go every weekend, I would.
I had to write a review about this place. I knew I wanted to find a better Korean BBQ place and found this place to eat at. Everyone who worked there were so kind and so informative. The one lady was so motherly, and gave my Friend and I instructions on how to eat the food. The meats were delicious and I tried small dishes primarily veggies that were so yum. I love Asian food and this is definitely one of my fav spots! Thank you for a great evening!
