Korean style Chinese restaurant. Jajang noodle, jjambong and tangsooyuk!! Very delicious!
drove 30 minutes just to try the jajangmyeon that was so raved about. She wouldnt let me order just for myself bc she said 2 people 2 orders. Extremely rude i will not be coming here again. Unacceptable way to treat your customers. What type of restaurant does this? I still dont understand their reasoning.
One of the best tasting Korean Chinese in NJ. I tried their Tang Soo yook, black, and spicy seafood noodles. I've had their food close to two centuries ago, and revisited randomly. Food is still just as great as then. Quality just didn't change. They always use clean oil for their deep fried foods, the soups, and sauce for the noodles are perfectly seasoned. I've tried all the Korean Chinese in NJ, and soups, and sauces can get either bland, and/or overwhelming. The radish side dish, and black sauce with onion complimentary pickles are still served. I'm very grateful to know ru noodles are around when I crave them.
Best Korean-Chinese fusion restaurant I've been in New Jersey. Fried dumpling was homemade, crispy and plentiful. We had Kanpungi and it was perfect! Jajangmeyon and Jampon was also very tasty. Had a great experience altogether. Thanks!
Had the Omurice and it was delicious! Very homey food, very homey ambiance, and feels like it's the best for comfort food. It's mostly Korean Americans eating here (gives it some credit and credence IMO). They had a Korean variety show playing in the background; it felt like an Auntie's house. Looking forward to more, especially the Jjajangmyeon and the Tteok-bokki. Very local. For now, I'm digging this restaurant!
I have eaten this style of food all over Korea, including Incheon Chinatown. I can tell you that this is as close as you will get to that in this area. The waitress was very kind and prompt to refill my iced barley water. The fried dumplings (군만두) are definitely homemade and delicious. If you want jajang sauce with your fried rice, be sure to order Jajang Bab(자장밥). I really enjoyed this. The sauce had more onion than I was used to, but that enhanced the taste. The atmosphere of the restaurant was pleasant and I enjoyed hearing Korean spoken around me. (It must be good if people who grew up eating this style of food in Korea are coming here!)
Lunch special noodles hit the spot! Noodles and sauces or soup separated for take out so noodles stay chewy and don't get soggy. Black bean sauce is flavorful and loaded with big chunks of pork. Seafood soup is also loaded with seafood.
Good. One of the best Korean Chinese cuisine in mid jersey area. The last time I visited, it was only for pick up due to Covid19. Recommend 깐풍기.
I would give a negative star if I can. We used to go to this place many times but ever since covid, today was our first time ordering "to go" our food.Unfortunately, it was very disappointing to see they use horrible quality to-go containers that melted and broke. So we could not eat any sauce and soup.We quickly reached out to the restaurant and the girl who works there picked up the phone and gave me an attitude and handed over the phone to the owner. The owner was busy defending herself and explaining that it has never happened before. So I told her it was my first time getting this kind of to-go container in my lifetime. Then she says " we did change our supplier and noticed that the container was thinner than the previous one. So take a picture of it and send it to me"I sent her pictures of messed up food with melted containers and she called me back saying she cannot refund the purchased amount unless we bring it back. I have told her "we live far, least 40 min away one way and cannot bring it back the food" then she said "then we can't refund you the amount but we will refund the amount for one of the noodle"She showed no signs of apologies other than making excuses and denying the situation.
Glad to have you around for the Korean Chinese fix. The food is good and the location is super convenient.
