This place offers traditional Cantonese/Hong Kong style food. The food is pretty good but a bit too oily. The only item i wouldn’t order again is the fried intestines. It was too chewy.
We just had a truly delightful experience this afternoon. There was quite a line when we arrived, indicative of how good this place is. We were seated fairly quickly. The food was awesome and fresh; the service was great! Kon and the rest of the team took such good care explaining things and even brought a birthday treat for my daughter. It's definitely a 5 star experience!!! Thank you!
I see you, reviewers looking to see if they have fried taro. And yes, yes they do~Actual review: went there for dim sum at noon on a Sunday; didn't have to wait for a table. Great selection on the carts (we ordered more later, forgot to take pics). Everything we ate was very tasty and fresh. Service was also great, with servers refilling our tea pot as soon as we flipped the lid.
I love Dim Sum. My cousin introduced me to this restaurant. She has a very specific taste for food so I knew this would be good. Staff is VERY friendly, they checked up on us often, which I liked. Food was great. The server recommended the lobster which was great & we even ended up having to take the rest home. The dim sum was good. Tasty. Only thing was I felt the shrimp shumai dough, was a little to thick. The ladies coming around with the carts with so many different offerings: I’d have to go here at least 4 times to taste everything on those carts.
Update -1*: Sweet and Sour pork is now at 75%, cutting corners on processing, now they cook it in advanced and refrigerate it, so now you will taste the refrigerator air taste, not made fresh except the sauce. I rather wait the extra time for it to be made fresh. If your crispy chicken was made fresh, why not cook all your dishes fresh. Why take shortcuts? Who's lost? Not the customers, we go somewhere else. the business is at lost.I had take out twice, man the food is on point and authentic Cantonese flavors. Sweet and Sour pork is to die for, I haven't tasted this flavor in such a long time, it's 95% accurately to what I had over 35+ years ago when I was a kid. Some prices are good and some dishes are a bit pricey. The place is spacious, tons of parking. Dim sum prices are good. They can generate more business if they do the 3dish& soup combo like in flushing. This would also help out some of the single working parent/unemployed families.
Dim sum here is good but so is dinner service! And it’s less crowded at night too. Great comfort food options. The sizzling steak was very tender. Braised tofu was juicy. Will be be back ?
Nice and comfy seating, clean and bright ambiance, food is delicious and good pricing. Highly recommend this place for dinner with group or family, looking forward to try out their dim sum next time.
Hands down the best Cantonese restaurant in this area. Their food quality is comparable to the best restaurants in NYC and Philly Chinatown. Great service, they are polite and never rush the customers even during peak time.
AMAZING FOOD AND SERVICE!! In a group of only kids, they were extremely hospitable and friendly, constantly helping us out. We struggled with ordering in Chinese (we’re ABC’s) but they just laughed along with us. One of the workers who was eating with his family got up to help us out when he saw that we were trying to get a specific dish. Totally would come back again with friends and family. Never experienced such amazing service and a great time!
Dim sum was amazing! Will have to try their dinner menu.?
