Worst experience. It’s a very dirty place. Not customer focused or friendly. The plates and spoons were very dirty(not washed properly), They have increased their prices and it’s not worth a penny. people will be very hospitable … you cannot relish the food.The price they charge is different from the menu. Shame on them.
We went at around 7.45pm to the restaurant, around 8 our order was taken. We were told our biriyanis would take around half an hour to be done,which we were ok with. Our starter was on the table within 10 minutes maybe, but the chicken biriyani was brought at 9pm .. Still no mutton biriyani around, till we were done with our food. I had to go to the counter and tell them to cancel it . Within 5 minutes we get our mutton biriyani which we get parcelled.Now about the food, chicken lollipop was good ,chicken biriyani, though the quantity was great, was okayish and definitely not worth the wait.
Went for the buffet here. Liked the starters and Mutton curry. There are so many items for buffet. Almost everything tasted good except for Uthappam and Fish.
Area was like a stinking garbage bin. I don't have an option to give a - star rating in google else i would have given it a - star. Cutlery was really dirty and had stains over the past few days. Really big mistake coming to this place without reading the reviews. All of the workers in the restaurant were very gloomy and did not have a nice gesture in front of us. pls skip this place.

Even in a mourning place when food is given for others, people will be very hospitable … here you get a very bad vibe.. you cannot relish the food. No blaming the chefs or cooks ..but the management sucks and seems to be one bunch of lazy folks.
Our family attended one of our friends son birthday party on Saturday 03/26/2022, my daughter got stomach upset because of the food she had at party, she had vomited whole day and not able to eat anything because of her stomach was bothering. Literally the food was pathetic and they fired the non’s in the oil and served in the party. So be careful while you order or host any parties in Godavari restaurant, better to avoid such places. Giving negative rating.
I am writing this review in the middle of the night while taking care of my 4 year old son who got food poisoning from this bloody restaurant. We attended a birthday party on saturday, march 26th evening and the food was likely cross contaminated or stored and served improperly Other kids also got sick. PLEASE AVOID THIS RESTAURANT IF YOU WANT TO BE HEALTHY.
Today evening ordered Two curries:Gongura Kodi kura and malai kofta along with butter Naan and garlic Naan. Let me tell you: one of the worst foods I have ever had.Chicken is very salty, butter Naans are very hard. I drove 20 miles to order food here.. pls don't waster your money and time.
We have attended a birthday party at Godavari 3/26/2022. My kid got food poisoned and vomited whole day. Please don’t chose for party’s and never order food from Godavari and I had worse food experience before as well.
We ordered Chicken Biryani, Mutton Biryani and Chicken Lollipop for takeaway. I mentioned multiple times to keep it less spicy. But still the food was too spicy and chicken Biryani smelled and tasted stale. I am sure this would be our first and last time here and definitely will not recommend.
