Food tastes good but my issue is with the menu. Menu explicitly says that the side dishes can be refilled up to 2 times but when we asked for our first refill, they just refilled 3 out of the 5 side dishes. One of the menu items we ordered is a soup. The photo next to the dish name has a raw egg in it but when the dish came out of the kitchen, no Egg! Server said egg is $1 extra!! Menu doesn't say anything about it being an extra. I felt deceived.
I’m picky. I hate a lot of food. I have a distinguished taste. But this place is freaking amazing. Best Korean food around. Get the kalbi beef bowl and you’ll thank me later.
The food is good, but portions are small and inexpicably the banchan are limited to 2 refills only. I went here with a few friends after watching a movie and we ordered a lot. I had ordered the spicy pork ribs but I wasn't sure if they got the order right because we were also given a random entree that we didn't ask for. They eventually figured it out and gave it to us on the house though. I've never been to a Korean restaurant where they limited the banchan refills, I don't think that's standard practice.
03/05/2022Their business seems to get back to the level before pandemic... Only obvious change is Yakult after meal is gone... That minus one star from me.... The flavor is still solid and delicious....***********************************I tried it and I love it. The Korean appetizer dishes are absolutely delicious and plenty. It's chef's specials are good. I also had it's Korean Table BBQ course - Awesome!!! The service was good and the price was inexpensive!! They serve Korean cold noodle here. It's pretty good at this hot summer time. This restaurant gives you a high c/p value.
Best duenjang jjigae outside of Korea, food is fresh, unpretentious and delicious.
We recently moved to the neighborhood and was looking for Korean food. The food taste was good. However, the restaurant runs its business unethically. First of all, I order two LUNCH combo special which the menu says $13.99, so it should be $13.99x2 plus tax and the total should not be no where near $36.23. I didn’t say anything at that time since I figure it’s COVID and everyone trying to make living. Then, I checked my credit card transaction and I was charged $44.23!!!! I never authorized that amount. It is extremely unethical the way they tried to rip their customers off. I disputed extra $6 since I had the receipt of $36.23. I honestly feel like I want to dispute the whole transaction!!! ? It is very sad how this Korean restaurant loose their customers because of their dishonesty. Please, everyone! Check the menu prices, your receipt and your card statement!!!
We used to like the food and atmosphere here but not anymore. The chicken was so bland , my fish has no salt and when I asked for soy sauce, the waitress gave me some attitude. Somehow, the environment that was so friendly changed too. Not coming back anymore.
Side dishes are great, other dishes too, except the hot tofu soup which is flavorless or blend. They prepare so quickly and service is good. And they give Yakult!
I ordered seafood bibimbaamp and the lady on the phone mentioned beef. I said no beef and when I came to pick up my order it was all beef. I gave it back while she gave me a ton of attitude and they brought the seafood one… When I opened it later it was truly the most ATROCIOUS Korean food I’ve had! It makes sense why it takes them 3 minutes to prepare the order! I literally got a pound of fake seafood with 50 pounds of premade sauce with a sprinkle of rice at the bottom!! I have no idea how these people are in business and even have good reviews. Disgusting food!!! DO NOT GO HERE!!!
It was our favorite restaurant until my wife found a short hair in her soup. I knew that would be a very difficult situation the moment she found that hair. She told them and showed them the hair. A server took it and gave it to the front desk lady, and the front desk lady took it back to kitchen, I heard they talked something in Korean but I don’t speak Korean. Well, that was the end of it, not even an apology. I still paid in full amount and tipped 20%. Me and my wife didn’t say a word either, didn’t complain at all, other than telling them what happened. We were very sad, my wife couldn’t finish her food because of that. I was a general manager for a couple of restaurants back in Ohio, one is a 14000 square feet venue, one is a big chain store. I have dealt with all kinds of people and situations in the past. I never handled any situation that poorly, nor did I allow my staff to handle it unprofessionally. We loved the food there, but we will never be able to go back again. Some suggestion to the owner ,when guests didn’t get what they were supposed to get, replace the food for them, if it’s too late to replace, cook another one put in a bag for the guests to take home. That’s would be the right thing to do.
