Nice sit down indian restaurant. We went here for a family dinner on a weekday. Initially, there weren't many people but it did get packed as dinner time approached. It's a beautiful restaurant and has creative looking dishes but taste-wise, it did not cut it for me. Food wasn't bad, just not the authentic indian food I was craving, being in the edison area.Pav bhaji fondue was sub par, gol gappe were ok and chaat was ok as well. Main course was slightly better than appetizers but still not as authentic as expected.
AMAZING!!! Food is so delicious and at a fair price. Portions are large and service is quick. The staff is very kind and courteous. The presentation is just as amazing as the food flavors! This is one of the best Indian restaurants in the area for sure.
Great aesthetic and delicious food. Waiters were nice. Place gets pretty busy for weekend lunch so they move around pretty quickly. Definitely recommend the mango lassi. So refreshing and delicious. The samosas are fantastic. We tried the Kathal Ki Boti which is some sort of jackfruit appetizer. It was spicy and flavorful but not my favorite. The Paneer tikka masala was so good and the veggie briyani was good to try but not my favorite. The Dhaba Murg is a chicken curry and it was my FAVORITE. The chicken was so tender and flavorful. Definitely recommend if you eat meat. Now for my standard COVID comments as of May 2022. All waiters are wearing masks and they ask that customers do the same. Tables are decently distanced. I felt comfortable sitting inside and enjoying our lunch.
We had a wonderful birthday dinner for my husband tonight at Chef's Table. I read some reviews and was a bit hesitant to try it out but I am so glad we did. The food was wonderful, there was no rush or pressure to get out quickly, the place is very clean. Staff wear masks and are very courteous. Our waitress was amazing, I didn't catch her name. She was very friendly, attentive, and pleasant. The food was not greasy or heavy nor was it too spicy. The presentation was great. I would bring friends and family here in a heartbeat and I will definitely be back!
Had a wonderful flavorful dining experience here. Food presentation & service was top notch. Went on a weekend when it was packed., we waited for a bit and soon was able to get a table. We were surprised as to how quickly we got our food while it was so busy. We ordered 3 appetizers, main course & dessert. We loved everything what we ordered- but chili honey lotus and sweet corn veg soup was excellent. Everyone gets a complimentary salad which comes well wrapped. And of course their special malai kulfi which comes in a kind of sizzling pot is a major highlight. Highly recommend this restaurant for a fancy experience!
I celebrated my 50th birthday here at the side outdoor area and couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! Service was above and beyond excellent and food was amazing. Staff was very accommodating. All our guests raved about the food. So glad we choose this pace to celebrate ?.. definitely one of the most memorable celebration and can’t thank Frank and Chef’s table enough for making it special for me.
Amazing place... Nice ambience and warm reception. The Food was above board, couldn't stop myself from reminiscing India and the delicious aroma rafting up your nose would leave you wanting for more. The best items that i loved were Lemon Coriander soup, Chicken Chops were cooked to perfection and sizzled like heaven. Don't forget to try the Goat biriyani and finishig the dinner with a dab of the smoked Kulfi..!!!
2 out of 5 items were good. The service was horrible and they gave us Chicken Biryani instead of veg biryani and never apologize for the mix-up. Paneer Tikka Masala was more gravy and less Paneer. The server was rude when I mentioned to him about the mix-up of veg biryani and service..
Great ambiance and amazing presentation of food! Customer service is just as good. Waiters and waitresses are very attentive and bring food at a timely manner. The food itself is delicious! The Manchurian and veggies fried rice were my favorite!! The pani puri was presented so well and was amazing. A great restaurant overall!
Chef’s table used to be my favorite place to have Indian food but off late they are loosing their quality and taste.. looks like they are becoming like a chain restaurant who hardly care about taste and quality. Today we ordered Haryali kabab, Fish tikka for starters , the food served was Luke warm and cold from core ..I told the server to ensure my main course order which was dhaba chicken curry , tandoori roti and chicken Hakka noodles were served hot , but that did not happen .. seems like the curry was reheated and served ..Cannot comment on the flavor as the temperature of the food is the key component of how the food tastes and this one was not good.. they were understaffed and all over the place.. Dissapointed by CHEF’s Table
