The food that was prepared was fantastic and I heard a lot of good comments as I was moving around. The presentation was also very impressive.

Bekaar place it became for me .. hopefully they understand i always buy from and always a huge quantity.. but when you suddenly bother them with small order for 1 person.. i ordered PatThai Noodles with always less vegetables but once i mentioned while ordering the lady thought i was robbing her place.. never showed supposively thought she maybe will put less vegetables since she did but the food made me food poisening.. old food !!!!!!!i dont know the gentlemen sitting on the counter who is he has one of the worse welcoming attitude. Oh My what kind of service i will definitely make sure that i review them next when i can i will able to post a picture. 1 Star is too much for tig guys change your attitude …

Hakka Chinese. (chinese food with an indian twist). Good Food. Been eating here for years.

We order from here at least once or twice a week. Chilli chicken is a must

First timer .. it’s pretty close to where we live but have never tried it here. From outside it doesn’t look that fancy . Even the inside look is average. Very few chairs and mostly take out now . Few parking in the front but many at the rear..Seeing Calcutta in the name , I really thought it was an undo Chinese restaurant but it ain’t. It’s a pure Chinese restaurant ..Very quick service 10-15 mins and the dish is ready. Tried spicy wings and they were awesome ! Also ordered chilly chicken with rice . Asked them to make spicy and yeah.. it was spicy:) had soy sauce and Chinese flavor but was spicy. Rice was sumptuous. They give a little bit of hot sauce. All for 12$.. not bad .. For food and service , I can surely give it a 4 star. It sure about the taste of veggie stuff here. Will try some day !

Should just remove the Calcutta from the store name. You don’t want to be associated with indo Chinese food. That stuff is terrible. This place just serves simple American Chinese dishes you see everywhere in NYC. Thankfully there is nothing Indian about this place. If you want that kind of pathetic food you can find it from Calcutta Wok or something on Oak Tree. The place upstairs that reeks.

Ordered noodles and veg Manchurian here today. It’s the worst Chinese food ever, food is extremely bland for Indo-Chinese taste. The thing that drives me mad is that the veggies in the noodles were undercooked and spoilt. The beans had big black spots and not sure how old, very evident from the look of it. I just don’t know how people can assume it’s ok to do this and think someone wouldn’t notice. The only thing I agree with the other reviews is the less oil although it’s not the best imho. Eat at your own risk! If food is never cooked with the care that you may want it to, it’s always better to look for something worth your money elsewhere!

I've been coming here since they first opened in like 2010 or whatever it was. Prior to covid we would come here 2-3 times a month as a family and spend easily $100-$200 here. Food is great, and when Mr.Quang owned it his customer service is awesome very friendly. I even see him in public and he is always nice! Even after the other owners I think took over they were nice but just recently the woman who runs the place had a nasty attitude when I asked her about a dish over the phone. Her son took my same order last week and didn't ask me anything on how to make it. I am not sure how they made it, she was just arrogant over the phone and when I got to the restaurant she was rude and ignored my questions about the dish. Not my fault their is lack of training and customer service. I truly enjoy the food here but the customer service put me off completely. When she handed me the food I proceeded to ask if there is a fork in there (sometimes they had forgotten in the past, mistakes happen) and she said yes you can't see it? No I can't see it if its on the bottom of the bag and you placed on the countertop. I asked her why are you being so rude I have been coming here for years. You have a restaurant woman!! don't get mad at your customers be polite! Be hospitable

This restaurant was amazing. I went here with a friend and didn’t know what to expect. It’s such a beautiful blend of indian and chinese food. The spices complimented the taste of soy sauce surrounding the food. The tenderness of the chicken alongside the moisture of the rice was a perfect duo. Phenomenal, absolutely phenomenal
