First time trying Korean Fried Chicken. it was DELISH. will definitely visit this place again
Kono fried chicken in Hmart next door is good. But I like Boom Boom Chicken more. The chicken is super crispy, even after 2 hours. Only complaint is the spiciness is not consistent. Sometime it can be burning hot!We ordered Donkatsu and there was a lot of pork chop, come with sesame sauce, rice and corn salad. Only complaint is the pork chop was a little bit dry. Sweet potato fries is good. The fried shrimp was very good too. Tips: 1) If you want to save some money, come for the weekday lunch special. 2) Please understand that they fry the chicken after you place the order, it may take 10-15 min. If you don’t want to wait, place order online or call them in advance. 3) if you have some leftover chicken, you can microwave the chicken (2 pieces) for 30 sec, preheat the toaster oven or air fryer to 375 F, bake it 2 min, flip to the other side, 2 more min. It will be crispy again
Today we drove from Staten Island to buy take out lunch. Upon arrival I was told there were no drumsticks. I then decided to buy a chicken wing large order ($24.99) and two-2 CHICKEN BREASTS, as one person in my family doesn’t eat wings. I was charged $5.00 for the chicken breasts. Once at home we took the breast out of the container, to my surprise, I paid five dollars for 2 pieces of breast, not for two breasts. Photo enclosed. I feel the girl in the front was not honest enough. I asked if they were breasts and she said yes. SHE SHOULD HAVE told me there were pieces of chicken breast and not a full breast. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, NIT HOMEST, GOT RIPPED OFF !I have purchased chicken from them before.ITS TIME TO LOOK FOE OTHER PLACES THAT SELL KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN.THESE TWO PIECES OF CHICKEN FOR 5$$ are a joke! Not going back!
One of the best Korean Fried Chicken places in town.Love Korean Fried Chicken? This is the place to go.Never tried Korean Fried Chicken? Try this place and you'll have the right idea of how KFC should taste like. And I like to add, it's fairly priced too! Great food at a bargain price.
These chicken are beyond ? ? flavorful! & the crunchy skin mmmmmh. Their fries ? are also really good, slightly crunchy & soft on the inside. Me & my husband cannot get enough of these. We live about 40 min away from them & everytime we get the opportunity to get in the area we have to make a stop to buy some.Customer service is always good, they're pretty fast with serving too. We never had any issues. They don't have a outdoor sitting area but they let you know that you can take some chairs to sit outside & we usually go sit in the Paris Baguette outdoor area they don't bother.I'd say it's beyond a must eat there. Forget about fast foods ?.
I stumbled upon boom boom chicken while looking for a chicken wing place that didn’t bread their chicken. I hate how breaded chicken wings get soggy quickly. Boom boom coated theirs, i’m assuming, with rice flour. So I decided to give it a try. I was about 10 minutes from home and by the time I sat down to eat it was about 20 minutes from pick up time. Incredibly, the chicken was still crispy! Soy garlic sauce was delicious, although I opted for spicy which was very hot but good LOL I was also surprised to find three full sized drumsticks in the box with my wings. I expected small ones. I can’t wait to order more chicken! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I like getting the all-day special with mild chicken, white rice and the salad. The chicken is seasoned with a delicious sauce and usually cooked well and never fatty! I just wish there was more consistency with the amount of sauce on the chicken and dressing on the salad. Sometimes they're light on the dressing and sauce but again it tastes very good and is prepared well otherwise! ?
They have fried legs and fried wings here, and when we went they didn't have any legs ready yet so we ended up getting a small order of wings which was between 7 to 10 wings. They only have two flavors which include mild and spicy and fortunately the mild tastes like soy garlic while the spicy has soy garlic and a little bit of spice to kick it off. You can get half and half or one or the other flavor. Overall hot and crispy, they were very good and want to come back and try the legs another time. A little expensive, but nothing surprising for Korean fried Chicken. The small order was about $16 after tax.
Super tasty chicken! I always go for their spicy small box, which is around $16 including tax—and is extremely reasonable considering the increase of meat pricing and how delicious they are! You also get a side of small rice which is very nice :) amazing flavor, once you try you’ll definitely go back for more.
Excellent Korean fried chicken! I prefer mild over spicy but spicy isn't that bad, like you won't need milk for it type of spicy. I also prefer the sweet and sour radish side over white rice because it balances out the fried chicken.
