Best place for south indian food in Edison, period. Have been here multiple times. had thali, biryani, fish fry, breakfast combo etc , each item is genuinely good and tasty. prices here are unbeatable, when similar places are more expensive. will suggest this place for folks looking for good authentic south Indian food.
We have been to this place several other times and each time the food we ordered was great. We tried their chicken biriyani, masala Dosa, and Andhra spicy Dosa, chicken and paratha. Each time the food was fresh, hot and delicious ?? what makes even better is the price. Everything is $10-$15 and comes with a big serving. For example today the Andhra spicy Dosa I ordered was $10.66 with tax and it came with a very tasty samber, chatny and spicy mashed potatoes inside the folded Dosa ?
Poor service. With high hope we had been here over the weekend, But with the price point (same us other popular south indian restaurant in that area) , the quality and service is not up to the mark. I came to know that the woman picture on the board is a accused politician from India.
Food was very good for the variety/ taste and cost !
Your taste buds will dance and thank you for visiting here. I must say very authentic taste.until we stayed in NJ we drove to Edison 2 week once only for Amma Kitchen. love fish fry and mutton biryani here
Easily one of the best South Indian places. Do not go on the aesthetics of this place. They have a fine dining near the original outlet. This place has the best dosas ever! Idli melts in your mouth, please go and try this place out :)!!!
What a place to try non-veg thali. It's a feast. Don't miss it. Value for money. You will have the opportunity to mix and match with the dish you like.
Food was good, service was... weird. We opted for the unlimited food option. They gave us what was prepared and actively avoided us until we left. We had to beg for water. We asked for food which was never delivered. I may give them another chance, maybe not.Edit: The business has apologized, but we don't prefer to patronize spots that actively make one feel awkward. Will not return.
Enjoyed the food and service. Ordered South Indian Thali unlimited which was we really enjoyed
