Good for tasty food at a good price. Lovely scenery.
The waitress Ina tried her best but the wait staff did not clear the plates, the ribs entree was brought out cold, the grilled corn was boiled not grilled for $6 each cob and the lobster meat on the lobster rolls was dry. There was some good food (appetizers) but overall for the price it was disappointing. It was my sonâs birthday and we were celebrating with another family and I kept apologizing the whole dinner for the deficiencies. I have been here before for lunch and was looking forward to a good meal but it didnât happen. And the front deck area better get fixed because someone is going to have a bad accident on the loose and wharped brown boards.
Great location in Edgewater. Looks very nice when you walk in but the experience is confusing. Wants to be fine dining, but has a diner feel - laminated menus with lunch and dinner options. Open sushi bar that looks like a fast food stop. Slow service on a sow day. Food was ok, but nothing outstanding. They need to figure out what direction the place should go.
Poor service, the fish my cousin in law ordered was stale even the tiramisu. Never again.
We had a wonderful time!!! The decor and ambiance were wonderful as was the view. The shrimp tacos were delicious and the fish and chips was great. The specialty cocktails were also amazing. Only downside was there was no wine list and it seemed like the only had house wine.
Not impressed with the food. The steamed whole lobster was dry and lacked flavor. Love the location and decor but food definitely needs improvement.
We ordered ceasar salads, one was enough for two people, although they were a bit lacking in flavor. The main courses were fish tacos, which were fresh and tasty. The servers were very polite, friendly and attentive. The views of the City and the River are amazing. The menu could have some healthier options. A lot of the entrees included fried fish. It's a good experience at a reasonable price. I would go back.
Food was very over-priced. Service was slow. And, the venue was very loud, despite only having 5 or so occupied tables. Will not be going again.
Reserved a surprise Bday dinner for 8 women in advance. The Bday girl personally knows the owner and his daughter. While neither owner was present this past Fri pm - the SERVICE our party received was "EMBARRASING". My friends and I frequent many restaurants - and we are well aware of the challenges they r having with lack of staff, etc - but this experience ruined the evening. I doubt sincerely - any of the 8 women who attended will be attending or referring the Yacht Club anytime soon - after this experience. I can only pray the restaurant improves there service before my best friend hosts a wedding shower in Oct (for her daughter) - which she had booked weeks prior.
This was one of my best experiences I have ever had. Absolutely extraordinary service, this was a once in a lifetime type of experience. So pleasant and supportive the staff, everyone is so friendly and genuine. Really exceptional human beings in this space, had such an amazing time. My best friends 44th birthday and everyone made her feel soooooo special. Plus the quality of the food, simply exquisite, really one of a kind type of must have experience. Please go visit today, the prices are soooooo reasonable and the food is so delicious. To The Yacht Club, thank you, thank you, thank you so much for an amazing experience, we are entirely grateful!
