I have no idea why this establishment has so few stars ! I’ve been coming here for years, and it’s only gotten better. It may be a bit pricy, but it’s definitely worth it. The food is awesome ! Hookah and drinks are also good. The service is great too. It’s one of the few spots in NJ that have good hookah, and also have a full bar. One of our go to spots in NJ for dinner, drinks and hookah.
Myself and about 15 friends over the course of the night spent a Monday evening at spirit bar and restaurant to celebrate our graduation from medical school. A majority of the staff and customers were welcoming to us and we spent ~$1,000 there over the course of the nights. Minor requests like food, drinks, and hookah were handled expertly by staff like Luis the bartender and David the waiter.\\n\\nHowever, one of the hostesses Blerta was incredibly rude and disrespectful to us the entire night. Constantly changing the music when we requested hiphop, r\\u0026b, and Afro beats (it was a Monday night and we were one of the only and by far the largest party patronizing the establishment), asking us to be quiet when we sang along to songs we liked, constantly giving our party dirty looks throughout the night, and just making us uncomfortable in general. I never write reviews but the fact Blerta made us feel this disrespected on what should have been a night of celebration prompted me to speak out. Despite the other staff being excellent she ruined the experience and I will never return to this establishment. Also I want to make it extremely clear we were not being unruly, disrespectful, or doing anything distasteful; we paid our entire tab with no issues and were simply Black graduates trying to enjoy our night but Blerta ruined it for us.

The plain pizza and falafel were good, but the salad that came with it was just chopped tomatoes. The spinach dip was a little too watery but tasted good overall. Cocktails were really good, though everything overall seemed a little overpriced. We had a pleasant experience at the location.
Great atmosphere, great staff and the decor is amazing. This is my neighborhood go to spot. Really a chic vibe and draws a younger crowd. The drinks are a bit pricey, but overall this is it.

Completely disappointed with the place and our waiter. Our waiter was practically forcing us to order food and an extra pitcher. We had the intention that it was a lounge and you didn’t have to order food but our waiter practically said if we don’t order food we cannot sit there which is completely rude. As soon as we said we didn’t come for food because we ate prior to coming he basically gave us the cold shoulder. After that he didn’t come to our table at all to check up on us, we even ordered additional drinks but never brought them out. Coming here they don’t prioritize you and really don’t care that you’re a customer, they just care about running up your tab and that’s it. Will definitely not be coming back and definitely not recommending this place to anyone, take your money elsewhere.

Wish I could leave a 0 start review for this place. Their service and hookah are both trash; especially for the bs prices they charge for simple hookah. Coming from queens NY, you pay half the price for a hookah and you get twice as better service and way better hookah too.
