We were a bit disappointed with Gigi and Mario. Izzy, the previous pizza place in that same place was excellent, had similar quality to Aumm Aumm, another amazing pizza place in the area. But Gigi and Mario seems common, ordinary. Not bad, but not to die for. The dough was a bit tough and not elastic as expected. The sauce seemed more like a pasta sauce than a pizza sauce, super heavy. Some slices were tiny, some others were huge - not a deal breaker, but still... Delivery was fast through GrubHub at least. The curious thing is that our margherita pizza didn't look like any of the pizza photos posted couple of months ago; not sure if something changed, but ours was completely different, not neapolitan-ish at all.

The restaurant is clean, big yet cozy. The food was phenomenal. I had the pepperoni pizza and the meat lovers. The pizza is deliciously thin and topping are cooked to perfection. The meatballs and Cesar Salad are also favorites. Thanks to the staff for being kind and welcoming.

Delicious food! It is my new favorite place and go to for pizza. And the staff is extremely friendly as well!

This place is amaaaazing. My fiancée and I live fairly nearby and frequent this shopping center, and when this place opened we naturally wanted to give it a try. Well, we loved it so much our first time, we’ve been back twice in two weeks, and it did not disappoint at all. The ambiance in this restaurant is phenomenal and the food is fan-freaking-tasting. We’ve had the calamari both times, and have ordered their Mushroom and Sausage white pie, as well as a Veggie Lovers pizza, and both were fantastic. The half bottle wine offerings are an amazing value and we love that they offer that. We’re eager to try their brunch offerings and some of their other entree items. We’re thrilled this place opened and it’s one of our new favorite neighborhood staples. Wishing the owners and staff all the success in the world, and hope we can contribute to that regularly.

NYC pizza meet NJ. While Jersey does offer some very good pizza Gigi and Mario offers that NYC type of pizza. I’m so glad this side of the river finally has artisanal quality za. The pizza is insanely good, the vibes inside are awesome, and the staff is great. They even offer fondue as a dessert which is always a good time. Welcome to Jersey and cannot recommend this place enough! 10 stars

Although I have the same last name, I'm not related at all to this place. Which has an amazing pizza! One of the best I've eaten. No kidding. Keep up the good work!

First time here after is opened. Good food and nice wood oven piazza. We love it and plus it is BYOB!!! You don’t get that much in this part of New Jersey so we really enjoy it. So food wise it’s five star. Service wise is a three star. I don’t know why there is no one greets us after sitting on a table for 15 mins. No water and no eye contacts until we asked for some water…. I hope this is only one off incident during the week. I plan to come back n hopeful not to have the same experience :)

I don’t why first 6 people gave them 5 stars unless they’re employees but they are not best nor good. They did really nice job inside however the ingredients are not so fresh and cheese tasted like off Walmart or old freezer. also need better tomato sauce. leaves were all shrunk. Yet, I give them 2 stars for the interior and below-okay quality food. I would rather eat frozen pizza from Costco

Delicious brick oven pizza. BYOB. Fresh cheeses. Great service.

This place is great. Very cool interior and great tasting food. Portions are very generous and they took great care of our kids. Highly recommend.
